IIT Roorkee MTech VLSI Admission 2023 Open; The Last Date to Apply Extended till April 17

New Delhi: IIT Roorkee is inviting applications for admission to its MTech in Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) Program launched for industry professionals for the academic session 2023-24. The last date to apply has been extended till April 17, 2023.

Applicants are advised to visit the official website of IIT Roorkee at iitr.ac.in to submit their online application forms. To be eligible for the M.Tech VLSI program, candidates must hold a B.Tech/ MSc in Physics or an equivalent degree to be eligible for admission into the program.

After the application process, the selection of applicants for admission to IIT Roorkee Admission 2023 to MTech VLSI program is done on the basis of the GATE entrance exam followed by academic performance and work experience and interview.

• Candidates must hold a B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate or a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale (for general - EWS also) and 5.50 CGPA on a 10 point scale (for SC/ST/PD) from a recognized Institute/ University.
• Those who are in their final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply on a provisional basis.
• Candidates must also have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in industry and/or research labs on the last date of the submission of the application.
• The selection of the candidates is based on the marks scored in GATE.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee at iitr.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the “Admissions” tab and then click on the “PG Admissions” link available on the screen.

Step 3: Now, click on the “M.Tech (VLSI)” program link available on the homepage.

Step 4: Click on the “Apply Online” button visible on the screen.

Step 5: Login using the required information such as Email ID and Password.

Step 6: Now, fill out the application form for the MTech (VLSI) program.

Step 7: Review the application form and then pay the application fee of INR 1000/- online.
