I liked the sports availablity and you are allowed to play all games

Dislike

Sometimes mess food is so bad that is unavle to eat
Not good transport connectivity with airport being almost 100 kms away.
The lift facility is not good of the hostels of this institute
Courses are not relevant to industrial requirement and courses are very hard student faces difficulty to pass in exam
Not much to explore in iit kanpur,it's a pretty boring city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose it Because I have an interest in the civil department... The faculty-student ratio is too good in iit kanpur nearly 1 course have 5_6 professor and tutor nearly 20... Faculties are Most. Of PhD holders and teaching methods so beautiful in understanding how we can approach clearly topics. 2 times.. in iit kanpur academics are too hard other than any college... so it's difficult to say we can pass any course before the exam.

Wonders at IIT Kanpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose civil engineering at IITK because of my family history with civil engineering. Though faculty: student ratio is quite decent here but that is not an issue because most of the academic and non-academic activities here are managed by student bodies. All faculties are highly qualified and highly knowledgeable, one such example is our ex-faculty, Dr. HC Verma. Academic pressure at IITK is a little high compared to other engineering colleges. Passing exams is not a big deal but maintaining a good CPI is a tough job.
