I choose this course because I was curious about management studies and I wanted to study Commerce and learn its practical application. Secondly, I was having commerce in my class 12. In the future Goal is to secure the 90+ percentile in CAT and avail a good college for MBA. The course faculty is good and well-qualified. With 10+ years of teaching experience and few scholars guide us in our study through career guidance and mutual help. Our 1st year was a bit fast, because of corona admission process was delayed. But that gap was covered by conducting two semesters of exams within 8 months. There are (approx.) 1:15 faculty Professor/teaching staff over the student.
In our time admission was through University's own entrance BHU UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test). But now as per the NEP (New Education Policy), Admission is given through CUET score. The eligibility of my course (BCom Hons) is 10+2 with (Mathematics or Commerce as a subject in class 12). Min 50% Marks, Reservation benefits as per government. 50%+ reservation to (SC, ST, OBC, and General). There are 5 Affiliated colleges in this course if you failed to get FOC (Main campus). Now you can find the application process and fee details through the NTA portal.
The placement of the college is good. In the 7th or 8th-semester companies arrives. The highest package goes up to 8 lakhs and the average lies between 5-6 lakh. However, there is 90% placement but the package is not so good. Most of the students go for higher study.
The admission process is so easy. NTA conducts entrance exams every year. On average, about 1 lakh student appears for the exam. ICAR also conducts a separate exam in which you have to get the best rank to get a seat in BHU. Institute of Agricultural sciences BHU provides two types of seats based on your rank, one is the regular seat and another one is paid seat in which you have to pay an extra fee.
The reason for choosing this course is that it provides a wide range of career opportunities such as a lawyer, judge, researcher, consultant, professor, etc. The faculty is also well established, the professors are very helpful, and the student ratio is 50:50. The professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable, their teaching method is also very easy to understand. Term examination is always on time, the paper was always a little tough.
The minimum qualifying marks for admission in the Course is 50% of the total marks in the case of the General category , 45% in the case of OBC, and 40% in SC, ST. Admission through Entrance Examination CUET. You can get a form from the official website of BHU. BHU being a central university provides reservation 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC, 10% for EWS, and 5% for PWD.
I choose the course as I want a career in pure sciences and further want to do research in respective fields. There are approximately 7 students under 1 faculty. Faculties are well qualified and knowledgable and masters of their fields. Term exams are good and up to the mark and are moderate to pass with consistent studies.
Eligibility, of course, is 10+2 from the respective stream in which you want to enroll and then clear the entrance exam provided by NTA. Dates and other details are provided on the NTA website and reservation is provided according to govt rules.
I opt this course because I have to go for the teaching line so therefore I opt for BA. The faculty here is very cooperative they help the students a lot and also the teachers are highly qualified. The exams held here are very hard to pass if you do not focus on your studies.
The eligibility of the course is that you should have more than 50% in both 10th and 12th. The form can be filled out online and all the details are available on its sight you can go through it. There are reservations of 27% for OBC then 15% for SC and 7.5% for ST.

I appeared for CUET 2023, and the required part was the English and general tests. We had to register on the website of BHU. After the results were announced, we filled preference sheet for eligible courses. Further, cut-offs were released in several rounds, I got my seat in the first round. I locked the seat and paid the admission fee. Later, we filled in the preference for subject combination and was allotted later on. The admission letter was released, we got our documents verified offline, and the admission was finalized. The admission committee at BHU is quite liberal and student-friendly, but they took time lot more than expected, which delayed our admission process by a month or two.
JSBy - Jayanti SinghI had applied for B.A Course in BHU. For this, I had to appear for the CUET Exam. Eligibility of this course is student should be 12th pass or appearing. I filled application form online on cuetsamarath.nic.in. The application fee is 1200 and the exam is held in two phases. The first cut-off of B.A in BHU was 349/400 and I have acquired 357.
