Aspirants seeking admission to 4 Years Full-Time BE Program must have passed 10+2 from the recognised Institute or Boards.

Course Details

Anna University offers full-time BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch courses in various disciplines at UG level. 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.

For BE/ B.Tech admission, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by TNEA counselling. NATA score in mandatory for B.Arch course.

Students can exercise their choices of desired institutions and branches after paying the initial deposit, i.e., INR 500 (INR 250 for SC/ST/PH and INR 100 for special reservation category) by Credit/ Debit Card/ Net-Banking or through DD drawn in favour of ‘The Secretary, TNEA Admissions, Anna University payable at Chennai’. I chose this course because of my interest in both medicine and engineering. My department has a strength of over 100 approx, the faculties are the best, they will help us with every sort of thing we need, also guide us in a proper way. Most of the faculties did Ph.D. and some of them are associate professor, all of them are completely qualified and their teaching methods are awesome. Their help made us score more marks in all the exams.

I chose this course because it is comparatively better than other college courses in Chennai. There were nearly 25 staff in the biomedical engineering department. The ratio will be 1:12. The maximum number of staff are PhD holders. For a semester there will be 3 CAT exams and revision test and a final semester exam. It will be very easy to pass if you are regularly attending the class.

Our college faculty qualification of M.E or M.Tech, pH.d Usually, faculty teach what they enjoy teaching and what their area of expertise is. Unfortunately, many faculty don’t like to teach the larger, lower-level course sections and those get relegated to the junior faculty and/or grad students.
