Students can become eligible for placement without PPO(Pre placement offer) from the 7th semester and if they get PPO then from the 5th or 6th semester itself. The highest package this year till now is above 2 crores and the average package is 22.7 lakh. Around 80 percent of students were placed. I plan to go for higher studies after getting the degree.
The admission process was online and was smooth, since if there were any discrepancies we were given time to correct them too. To get admission I had to clear JEE mains and JEE advanced from which 40,000 were selected for IIT. For my branch, the cutoff was around 2000 AIR for general and since I had a reservation(EWS) I got the seat at a rank of 4172. The application form for JEE mains can be found at NTA's site and once you qualify for the exam you can fill out the form for JEE advanced on the official site of JEE advanced. The date for mains during my time was in December.

For admission to IIT Bombay, you are required to first qualify for JEE mains and get a good enough rank in JEE advanced. also, you should be in the top 20 percentile of your respective board or 75% of the CBSE board. The application form is available in the official website of JEE Advanced. Application fees are around 3000 Rs and the form comes about after the release of JEE main result.
RkBy - Ritesh kumarTo get into IIT Bombay which is one of the most prominent engineering institutes in the world you need to clear JEE Mains and JEE Advanced that too with a very good rank. Minimum 75% marks required in 12th boards. Jee Mains is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and Advance is conducted by IITs. Registration forms are made available by IITs and NTA on their websites. Mains is conducted twice a year and if you qualify you will be eligible to sit in one of the most difficult examinations in the world which is JEE advanced. Seats are kept reserved on a caste basis, and gender basis, for PwDs, Special Numararies, and Children of Defence servents. The registration process and admission
OCBy - Omprakash ChaturvediThere was an All India competitive exam called JEE which I have cleared to get this course. Application form can be found on the NTA website, the fee of the same is 2900. A reservation holds a lot of benefits like the person with the same marks with a reservation will get a lot better seat than the one without a reservation.
