Remarks :

To get into IIT Bombay which is one of the most prominent engineering institutes in the world you need to clear JEE Mains and JEE Advanced that too with a very good rank. Minimum 75% marks required in 12th boards. Jee Mains is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and Advance is conducted by IITs. Registration forms are made available by IITs and NTA on their websites. Mains is conducted twice a year and if you qualify you will be eligible to sit in one of the most difficult examinations in the world which is JEE advanced. Seats are kept reserved on a caste basis, and gender basis, for PwDs, Special Numararies, and Children of Defence servents. The registration process and admission process are very smooth. A one-week-long orientation session is conducted by the institute for registration and familiarisation with the IIT Bombay system. The campus is lush green. This college is the dream of millions of engineering students in the country.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIT Bombay offers the best civil Engineering courses only in the country but also in the world. IIT B civil department is ranked 1 in the nation and 53rd internationally. Faculties are very well qualified. Every one of them holds PhD in their respective specialization from one of the best universities in the world. The exam pattern is quite student-friendly. We have 8 semesters in four years. Each semester has a Midsem exam and an endsem along with some quizzes.

Internships Opportunities :

IIT Bombay is well for its internship and pre-placement offers. Top recruiters are MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Accenture. Many students can avail a chance to work under the guidance of well-known professors for various projects.

Placement Experience :

IIT Bombay is very popular for its placement records which are the best in the country. This year only the highest package offered is 4 crore per annum. The average placement is 22.85 lacs per annum. Many students opt for higher studies. Some students go for government job examinations. Many of them come up with brilliant business idea till the end of their degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution Fees at IIT Bombay is 1lacs per semester excluding exam and some other fees which total to 10-12K per year. Along with this hostel fees are 13000 per semester and the mess fee is 22500 per semester. Students are availed of various scholarships. Institute offers complete remission of tution Fees for students having a family income less than 1 lac

Campus Life :

IIT Bombay is very well known for its fests. Some of them are Mood Indigo, Techfest, Eureka, Akaar and many more. Mood Indigo is the biggest fest conducted in the Asian continent. Hostel Facilities :

Facilities provided in the hostel room is quite good. Size of room is ambient for a student. 1st, 2nd and 3rd year rooms are double sharing. In 4th year students are availed with single sharing. Mess food is of good quality. Menu is prepared by Mess Council which is a student body itself. Registration process for hostel is quite smooth. You just need to submit a couple of varification documents and that's all.
