Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT BOMBAY is one the best in India. The college offers numerous packages. Every year many companies come here to hire the best minds and almost 90% of students get placed. I am planning to work on some start-up ideas instead of going for a placement.

Remarks:

The admission to IIT BOMBAY was done through an entrance exam named JEE ADVANCED. This is the toughest exam conducted in India. Over 10 lakh students give this exam but only 10000 are selected for IIT and of which almost 1300 are selected for IIT Bombay.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides on-campus placement. Placement season starts at the end of the 7th semester for the fourth yr students. Companies like SAIL, BHEL, ONGC, and many more come to the campus. The average salary for chemical engineering students lies between 18 LPA and 20 LPA. Almost 90% of the students are placed in on-campus placement, the rest are either preparing for UPSC or MBA or have a startup in their mind.

Remarks:

You have to clear JEE Advanced to get admission into IITs. You also need to have min 75% in your 12th boards. First, you have to apply for JEE Mains on their official website. If you have a percentile greater than 90 then most probably you will qualify for JEE Advanced. Then Qualifying for JEE Advanced is the most important thing to get admission into IITs. You can also avail of reservation benefits here.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year students could do internships and earn money. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Ola visit the college. This year's highest package is 4.3 cr and the average package is 15-17 LPA. Around 80% of students get placed. I'm planning for an enterpenureship after getting my degree.

Remarks:

You should clear JEE advance exam for enrolling in this course. Details regarding the application form are available on JEE advance's official website. Reservation is available as it is a government college. For sc/st no hostel fee is taken. The admission process could be made easy by taking documents only once.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the starting of seventh semester.also there are lot more pre-placements offers in the third year also. Almost all companies visit the campus for recruitment. Highest package is from CS department of about 2.5 crores and median is around 18 lpa. Almost 95% students get placed on an average in a particular year. My plan is to look for placement or maybe go for higher studies.

Remarks:

Eligibility is JEE Mains(2 exams, best is considered). After qualifying for mains then, JEE Advanced exam. NTA website, exam in the month of Jan, April, and July. Reservation on categories such as obc, sc, St as well as on ews. The admission process is very smooth and easy.
