The course curriculum is excellent, providing case-based education, allowing you to learn a lot about management. You will also have the opportunity for peer learning experiences and open discussions in class.
The internship is done under the SIP program, and lots of companies visit the campus and offer great roles. Therefore, there are excellent opportunities in an internship as well.
Great companies with excellent pay scales visit the campus, such as BCG, EY, Karney, Aditya Birla Capital, Mickey and Co., Reliance, and TATA Strategy Group. They come every year.
Frankly speaking, I dont know about all the scholarships until now because I am busy with many assignments and meetings with seniors. However, there is a need for merit-based scholarships on campus.
The infrastructure is awesome. The college is situated in the cleanest city of India, and you will get the best infrastructure in college.
The registration process is hassle-free, and you can easily contact the hostel authority if you are facing any issues.
Its an excellent college with very good management. The director is an amazing individual.

Dislike

Students got placements, but the initial placement salary is less than what is expected for the course for a few students

Life at IIM-I

Placement Experience:

Summer internships take place in the month of September of your first year. Final placements are done in the duration of the 5th term of your course. The average package for the 2021-23 batch was 30l.p.a with some of the dream companies coming to recruit for good roles.

Remarks:

The eligibility criteria for IIMs is the CAT exam. Your CAT score along with your 10th/12th/Grad marks and your work experience is taken into account and a specific weightage is given to each. IIM Indore gives a lot of weightage to your previous scores. You go through an interview round to get selected for the course.

MBA Journey

Placement Experience:

Placements are good on the campus. Many good companies come to the campus for recruitment. The SIP process usually starts after term 1. Resumes are selected on the basis of academic excellence, and your achievements.

Remarks:

I filled up the CAT form online. Eligibility is having graduated or in the final year of graduation. Having good marks in 10th and 12th is very important for getting into iim indore. Your work experience also matters.

Placement Experience:

The placement process starts at the end of the first term itself. There are multiple companies that come to recruit people. They select people based on their resumes and skills. They hire them on the basis of group discussions and interviews.

Remarks:

Any graduate candidate attending the final year of graduation is allowed to appear for the CAT exam. The application form is available on the official website of CAT. For General/ OBC candidates 2200 is the fee for the application. The exam is conducted usually in the last week of November.

A teeny tiny look into the life of an MBA

Placement Experience:

We have the process of our summer internships, which start after the end of the first year, right in the first term itself. Various companies come on campus and selection is based on resumes and various tests and skills.

Remarks:

The admission process was very smooth and despite it being an online process, the university made sure that the entire end-to-end interview process was seamless. An application form is a common form with other IIMs and dates vary for each year.

MBA - Should I do it?

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course as with any other MBA course is hectic. Term 1 will be more of a SIP preparation time. Everyone is concerned about that. Term 2 is academics-heavy. The faculties are top-notch and helpful. We can ask everything after the class also.

Class Size : 646Course Fees : INR 1200000 per year

Remarks:

I took CAT for getting entrance to a management course in IIM. The process was fairly smooth. The IIMs set some minimum percentile as their eligibility process and then send the application or interview emails to the students. Then the process updates are sent and after that, the final interview is mailed. The process was fairly smooth and everything was communicated in due time. The application eligibility criteria and fees are updated on the sites for respective IIMs.

Accomplished dream filled with uncertainty

Placement Experience:

Final placement is almost 100 percent where multiple multinational companies come and take the student at a high package. Summer placement is also good but the placement is not 100 percent but close to it.

Remarks:

I filled up the CAT form at rs 1100 online using the reservations certificate. Eligibility is having graduated or in the final year of graduation. Having good marks in 10 and 12th is very important for getting into iim indore.

Overview of IIM Experience

Placement Experience:

Generally, placements happen in the 5th term or the beginning of the 6th term with 100% of placements occurring every year. Other than that some students get Pre-Placement Offers from the companies where they do their internships from.

Remarks:

Minimum eligibility criteria require you to have a bachelor's degree with certain minimum marks obtained, students in their final year can apply for the same. The admission process starts with filling out the CAT application form released in August, the exam is held on the last Sunday of November. Post which results are declared and you start getting calls (generally E-mails) from various IIMs for which you have applied while filling the CAT form. These calls are for the Interview round, wherein you are scheduled for an interview. The time when I appeared for CAT interview was taken online. Then the results are declared starting in April.

Best Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The college provides placement to all its students. Students start getting placement opportunities in their last semester. The highest package may range around 23-25Lpa and average around -18-19lpa. Many reputed companies visit the college for finals.

Remarks:

The admission process was really well organized. After giving the CAT entrance exam I was shortlisted initially for the PI and further rounds and after PI and extempore, I was offered a final admission offer which I had to accept within a stipulated timeline.

The journey through Planet-I

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by the college are excellent. There are two placements, Summer Internship (SIP) and Final Placements (Finals). The companies start coming for SIP at the end of august itself (TERM 1), and the placement week is generally in mid-September. The finals start in mid-November (TERM 5) and the final placement week is usually in mid-December. A lot of companies visit the campus, starting from big names like Tata, Aon Consulting, Jindal Group, Kotak group, etc. The offer: student ratio is generally 1:1, with some students getting multiple offers. Last year, the highest package offered was INR 36,00,000 and the average package offered was INR 22,00,000. The college usually has 100% placements, with very few opting out to pursue the highest studies.

Remarks:

To get admission to IIM Indore's PGP-HRM program, the first step is to clear the Common Admission Test (CAT). I gave CAT 2020, held in November 2020. The overall cutoff for that year's CAT for IIM Indore was 85 percentile. I cleared it and then got a call from IIM Indore stating that my interview was scheduled on a particular date. I attended the interview, post which they told me if I am selected, I would know by email. My selection came in the last shortlist of June. The CAT application form can be found online on google by simply typing "CAT 20XX". The form is usually open in the first week of August and closed in the first week of October, with the exam taking place on the last Sunday of November.

The program includes a fantastic combination of IIM Indore. That, however, is no longer a challenge. The best part about Jigsaw is that they always have a listening ear—they are eager to learn about the challenges of the students and are resolved with the same responsibility. Every issue will be addressed and resolved. The course is good; the more time you spend on it, the more knowledge you will gain. you will never be crippled with content as Jigsaw is having a pretty decent quality of content and is very easy to follow. All weekend classes will be recorded and made available to you if you want to review the material. The course will walk you through the statistical methodologies and tools used by data scientists for data analysis and modeling. You have both graded and non-graded assignments. Non-graded for practice and graded for completion of the course. The more you practice, the more confident you will become. Here is the experience of one of the IPM students of IIM Indore. She completed some paperwork and a brief registration process as soon as she arrived at the campus and Hostel Reception Center, after which she was given her temporary identity card, room key, etc. She also completed the course registration and other paperwork later that day. The following two days of Induction were when the real action began. On the second day, she and her friends hurried to the auditorium after hearing an introduction to the faculty, information about IGNOU, and the format of the IPM course. The remaining three days of the induction passed slowly. Despite the fact that students were involved and there were actual activities. First, keep in mind that you're looking for a program that will help you develop your entire personality while also giving you access to cutting-edge amenities and facilities and an assured MBA from one of the best B schools in the nation. The IPM course offered by IIM Indore is ideal for you if this is what you're looking for. If, however, you are solely interested in a BBA program and are confident that you can enter IIM ABC after BBA despite the competition from roughly 2 lakh engineers, then go for it. However, if you choose to do so, you also have the choice to leave the IPM after receiving your undergraduate degree and enroll in a better business school to complete your MBA. Therefore, if you must choose between the two, it is advised that you go with the first because it will give you better exposure, a more competitive environment, better amenities, and a rare opportunity to graduate from an IIM that is among the top 5 in the nation....Read more
