Sports facilities are the best with tournaments like interyear ,interbranch ,lalkaar sportseet amd inter NIT.

The curriculum is poor, outdated, and lacks emphasis on learning and acknowledging the subjects. The only focus is to rush through the curriculum without giving importance to linking, correlating, and expanding horizons. The assignment system is still outdated.
NIT Hamirpur does not provide internships except for civil engineering students. There is summer training available for civil engineering students within the college. Other students have to apply for internships in companies on their own.
Yes, hostels are provided within the campus with some minimal charges. Hostels are divided on a yearly basis, and rooms are shared with four students, which is very inconvenient. No one knows what will happen after corona.
Can we expect a government institution in India to be slow and lazy in every situation, not willing to help students?

NIT at its best

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in the placement drive in their final year. Every number of companies visit the campus and pick up the best from here. Students have a good package and a great percentage of students are able to have a placement.

Remarks:

I cleared JEE MAINS PAPER 2 for admission to this college. You can find your application on the website of NTA and apply from there online. You can avail of reservations on the basis of your category. The exam is conducted in many cities in the country.
