For admission to NIT, you want to qualify for jee main examination. After the result of Jee advanced counseling was started called josaa counselling. Then register into josaa counselling starting to give preference for college from your jee main rank.
I had an exam for Jee Mains you have to register for it on nta website after the registration fee is ap 1500 and the dates are released by nta it occurs in mainly January and April. It provides reservation benifits to the sc st and obc categories. Admission is processed by the josaa official website where you will get college according to your preference and marks in jee mains test. Then you should pay saf and PAF fees at the josaa website and then you have to go for physical reporting with documents and your admission is verified
We must have completed your 10+2 or equivalent examination from the Science stream. We must have achieved the minimum percentage in the 12th class which is 75% to appear in the JEE Main exam. There is usually no specific age limit for B.Tech courses. The admission process is way too smooth. We have to just fill admission document on the JOSAA portal and there is a physical verification within a couple of months. The application fee depends on the category of the applicant and application dates are also shared on the NTA official sites. Yes, I availed of reservation benefits as I am from the SC category. SC students have cutoff marks around 55%ile in JEE Mains and I got my college at 90%ile. Yes, there are some improvements that I want to see in the admission process. The 75% criteria in the 12th class to appear in JEE Mains exam should be removed as some students dont take 12th class seriously and focus mainly on JEE preparation.
The admission process was very smooth as we all had to apply through JOSSA counselling. Applying for an application form and other documents was not such a part of the issue. Physical Verification also happens after a couple of months. Tasks related to fee submission can be done at the college website.
Yes, I opted for the jee mains examination on the hais of which I got admission in this college. I got a reservation of being in OBC but according to me, this reservation is equal to negligible so having a reservation or not it's the same.
You have to appear for JEE Main to get into an NIT/IIIT/GFTI. Students of the Unreserved category must score at least 75% and the reserved category must score 65% in their Intermediate board examinations. The JEE Main exam is conducted twice a year probably in the months of January and April The application form and complete guidelines are released every year on the official website of NTA(JEE Main) Reservation benefits are as prescribed by the government of India. You can also appear for JEE in the drop years. The top 2.5 Lakh students in the exam are eligible to appear for JEE Advance to get into IITs. The admission process needs no improvement as it is already robust and smooth.
Any candidate who got below 13000 in JEE Mains can get a seat in NIT Kurukshetra. We dont have any application forms only the seat allotment letter and provisional admission letter given by JOSAA are required while reporting at college.
NIT Kurukshetra BTech admissions are based on the JEE Mains exam followed by JoSAA and CSAB counseling. JoSAA has released 1-6 rounds of cutoff and seat allotment. Along with that, CSAB has also released Special Round-I and Special Round-II seat allotments.
The admission process is quite simple. you have to take jee mains examination for which your 12th board marks should be a minimum 75 percent. you have to score well in the exam this exam is held twice a year so you can improve your score also.
I got a seat in nit Kurukshetra in the Josaa rounds conducted by NTA (national test agency) after taking the jee entrance exam. There are a total of 6 rounds in Josaa and there are two special rounds that end. after seat allocation admission was done by submitting the required documents. Reservation Benefits for SC/st require a minimum percentile for selection and zero college fees. Required improvement in the admission process institutes need to provide English communicators to decrease language problems because students joining from all over India.
