NIT Kurukshetra has concluded its 2022 placement drive during which a total of 843 students were placed with 1014 placement offers. The number of placement offers increased by 49% as compared to the previous year. Among the placed students, 632 were from B.Tech, 114 were from M.Tech, 72 were from MCA & 25 were from MBA. The highest salary received was INR 1.25 CPA which increased from INR 43.75 LPA in 2021.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. The highest package for the year 2022 is 1.23 crore. Almost 89% of student gets placed every year. Many students plan to do a job after their degree while some are interested in startups.

Internships Opportunities:

There is a lot of internship opportunity here and there. Mainly in the 6th-semester students go for internships and the average stipend is 15-50k per month. Students are also allowed to work on projects under the guidance of professors.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are started in 7th semester. All big companies visit for placements like Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Tata power, Maruti Suzuki, HUL etc. The average package for IT companies is 800000 and for non-IT it is 500000. Around 70-80% students get placement offers.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are offered to all students for 6 months. All the major companies which visit for placements also offer internships to the students during 3rd year. Students can also opt for research projects.

NIT Kurukshetra Experience till 3rd year, still more to explore.

Placement Experience:

Overall the placements are good, the average package got higher in top branches. The students become eligible for the placements in the 7th semester and not all but many top companies visit the campus like Google and Microsoft. Last year the placements were very good, In the CS department every student got placed, and in my course, about 93% got placed with a median package of 14LPA.

Internships Opportunities:

This time, there were not many companies visited the college but those who came offered a good stipend only a few students got internships. There are top companies like Google, Microsoft and American Express who visited. Most of the roles were of SDE Intern, some were BDI, and a few were developers. There are also other companies who visited for the core roles in their respective branches.

NIT Kurukshetra for energy studies

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 3rd semester for campus placements. There are a lot of companies visiting every MNC and most companies. I got two offers from Tata and Wri. The highest package is 12.5lpa and avg is 9lpa. 80% of students got placed.

Internships Opportunities:

TATA, SLII, WRI, ICF SIEMENS, WSP, GE, SUN MOBILITY, AVAADA, RENEW POWER, BEE, MNRE, ENERGY EXEMPLAR. Most of energy domain companies visited for the internship with a 25k to 45k stipend. In an interview, they mostly asked for projects and research work.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Many top companies like Amazon, DE Shaw, Google, Meesho, etc visit the campus. The highest package was offered by DE Shaw which was around 62 Lakhs. The average package for BTrch is 13.89 lakh. More than 82% of students were placed in Btech.

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies visit campus throughout the 6th sem for internships. Most of them are with a stipend. The maximum stipend was 1.5 lac per month by winzo games. You can also opt to pursue projects under professors if you want to.

Placement Experience:

Usually, the placement starts at the end of summer vacation after the 6th semester, around the end of July. Companies start visiting for recruitment from the start of fourth year. Some companies that offer internships to 3rd-year students, may offer pre-placement options to some students. The highest package offered was 1.25 Cr . Average package was 17 lpa and median package was 10 lpa . Percentage of students getting placement was about 80%.

Internships Opportunities:

All students have to do internship or any project. It is compulsory for all Btech students. There is SIMENS centre ,where students do their projects . Every student must undergo some form of training or do an internship in the Summer break after the 4th semester. The duration has to be at least six weeks. There is a proper evaluation of the same in the 5th semester. You’ll have to submit a copy of your training/internship certificate, a professor would evaluate your work by asking questions and looking at any projects you’ve made during that time. This evaluation’s got credits, so pay attention to it.

The placements of my course are fantastic as the highest package is about 48lpa whereas the average package is about 20lpa.in the final year students are eligible for placements. In my course there were 100%placements. I will be placed in tech jobs after getting my degree.

It is on-campus and off-campus internship opportunities are available for the students plus students can perform in their respective projects under the guidance of professors and we have our own internship cell.

Placement Experience:

from the 6th semester you will be eligible for a campus internship and from there you can get a PPO also There are various Big MNCs visits here as this is one of the best engineering colleges in north India like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and Amazon. They together take about 100-120 students with more than 15 lpa average, the rest will have to choose whether to go in core or management and the average package will be around 13.8 lahks and the minimum is 5lpa. For this academic year about 83% got placed My plan is to go abroad for higher studies in the future it will provide me with more opportunities.

Positive Points About NIT ( why you choose NIT)

Placement Experience:

1. After the second semester, the student will apply for an internship, and some come to university also. 2. Infosys, Wipro, tincture, HCL, etc, and many other companies are there. 3. Last year the highest package goes up to 40 LPA and an average of 8 to 9 LPA. 4. Percentage of a student getting a job is 70% 5. My plans are simple just get the highest package at the university.

Internships Opportunities:

1. My seniors got internships at Microsoft also but Microsoft did not come there. Yes, companies like Wipro come for internships. 2. Projects like user interface frameworks, designing, graphic design, new innovative ideas project, etc.
