hostels are best as compared to all NITs and IITs . rooms size are quite large, meals are good but there is only veg available. hostel registration can be done on svnit portal itself. hostels are very affordable.
The annual fest's name is sparsh whereas the technical fest's name is mindbending. they are conducted nearly together in the month of march. the library is good, you can find a lot of books and research papers there. classrooms are not that great they are like schools only. sports facilities are good.
THERE IS SO MANY FEST IS HAPPENED IN COLLEGE LIKE MINDBEND, SPARSH THESE ARE THE BIGGEST FEST HAPPENING IN GUJRAT AND THE FEST HAPPEN DURING EVEN SEMESTER OR IN APRIL MONTH, A GOOD OPPORTUNITY IN SPORTS, THERE IS SO MANY CULB FOR STUDENT,
> Annual fest SPARSH is conducted in April, tech fest is MindBend conducted in last of march. > Almost all the books available in our course are in the central library and there are many types of literature also available. > Classrooms are well designed are equipped (projector, mics, camera, etc.). > Many sports are there like football basketball cricket and dance music also there. >many clubs are there like chard, NSS are there
Mainly two important fests in your college minbend and sparsh which happened during even semester pr April month, the library is also very nice and full ac size of the classroom is also very large good sports facilities.
Hostels are balanced as not at all bad as well as not at all bad. Double-sharing rooms are provided for first and second year students where lan is provided with WIFI. Mess food is average and eatable. Depending on the hostel you are getting, hostel food can be good as well.
Life in campus is quite thrilling and good. Number of clubs are there from departmental clubs to dancing, singing, cultural events to coding clubs etc. Gym is there and talking about library, it is quite good and appreciable. The facilities at the gym is very good.
The hostels are poorly maintained, the mess has poor food quality and that is the biggest drawback of the college, the fees for mess is about 17k per semester and there are hostels for everyone and hence pgs are not required
The tech fest here is called mindbending and it is conducted in march, the library has almost all types of books in it but they are very old and worn out, the classrooms are equipped with projectors and there are no AC's available
In 1st and 2nd year you will get a room with double occupancy with basic furniture like one bed for each persons and other things like ,chair, table, and almirah you have to share with your roommate. No other electronic gadgets except laptop and phone and extension board is allowed in campus. Mess food is not that bad
The name of the annual fest is SPARSH which is the biggest fest in Gujrat and MINDBEND is the tech fest which is also the biggest techno-managerial fest in Gujrat recently Sachin jigar came to Sparsh. There are almost 1.5lakh books available in the library In very good condition. A full air conditioner library is there with all the facilities including a digital library.. the classroom is also fully furnished with a projector and with other basic amenities. This college also encourages a sports culture. There are many clubs in college like raag, drishti,Malang, akriti, Phenix and many more
Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are average and the facilities in the hostel like laundry are not free you will have to pay for them. Mess food is not that tasty but it is healthy and hygienic. The registration process of the hostel is done at the time of physical reporting at the college and I think it is affordable too. If you are local then maybe it can be hard for you to travel to the college and PG because you will have to come to college twice a day for the events which occur after college time and for other activities too. So, in my opinion, the hostel is better than PG
There are lots of fest and events happen during the year. There are at least 2 to 5 events per week in college. Fests like cultural fests and techno-managerial fests are amazing and mesmerizing. They are organised by the students and sometimes faculty members get involved in it but mostly by the students only. Taking about books then you can issue books from the library. Every type of book is available in it. Classroom are average and the infrastructure of the college is also not that good. You can get Sports opportunities in volleyball basketball and cricket like sports. For extracurricular activities, you can join clubs according to your interests. Some social media groups and clubs are websites for students run by students. But the official Websites are run by the college management of course.
The hostel of nit Surat is very nice and the size of the room is also very big as compared to all nit as well as iits, in a 3rd-year single room is provided. Meal quality so not better but there is so much mess on campus so you can join any mess where the mess is nice.
Campus life is excellent there are so many fests happening in your college. At even semester time events are conducted. Freely you can use the library and the infrastructure of the library is very nice and full ac library, so the opportunity for sport and extra curriculum.
The hostel facility is too much good and healthy food is served for all students and no problem as hygiene conditions were checked properly by the chief warden and other professionals management authorities so all are fine
Life on campus is chill and too much interesting and there are too many clubs and tech fests happening in colleges like sparsh mind bend and kashish for freshers. we really enjoyed the year studying.
There is counselling called JOSAA for the admission process in nits. Students who appeared for the jee mains exams conducted by NTA can register for counselling. There are no application fees for the admission process. You can get lots of benefits if you have reserved a category. The overall Admission process is smooth. According to me, there is not nothing to improve further but yes the category benefits are too much and it's not fair for the deserving general candidates
SPBy - Shreya PatelAdmission in this college is through jossa(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) Counselling. for to eligible for this counselling you should appear in jee mains (joint entrance examination) and score above the cutoff. In 2022 the cutoff is 8s around 90percentile. through jee mains, you are eligible for NITs, and IIITs which is a government college so you will get reservation benefits on the basis of both gender and caste. The admission process is quite smooth and I didn't face such difficulties
SsBy - Stuti singhThe cutoff for admission in the civil branch is about 95 percentile in jee mains for the general category...the entrance exam is fairly difficult and it takes a lot of hard work to clear it...the admission process is very streamlined and efficient. I had encountered no difficulties in my admission process
