The course is basically about economics and its parts it includes subjects like statistics, mathematics, micro and macroeconomics and econometrics. Faculty members include professors and assistant professors. The qualification of the teachers is that they have PhDs. Due to the delay in the admission process, it was difficult to cover the course and was difficult to pass
Chose the course because of my interest in the field of Economics and the high scope of the current scenario About 25-30 professors in the faculty and 150 students per year Faculty constitutes of Associate and Assistant professors with qualifications of Master, PhD (or currently completing), B.Ed End Semester exams every 4 months; difficulty to pass 5/10 but manageable
I chose this course as I had an interest In economics. The faculty is good, Student ratio is 6:1 for boys: and girls The teaching method is good, but sometimes they're in a hurry The term exams were held timely, and in one subject it was difficult to pass.
The course is pretty nice and logical. It's more analytical and not rot learning. Also, the faculty is very nice. They make sure that all the topics are clear to us. The term exams are conducted timely but they are just delayed due to Covid.
I always wanted to study economics and along with mathematics, it is a killer combination. We have fairly a good number of professors in the economics and mathematics department and mostly all are PhDs. Since my 12th went into the pandemic it was difficult to get back to writing physical exams that weren't OBEs but everyone managed in the end.
I have chosen Economics Honours as my course because I feel I had a commerce stream in my schooling so I wanted to study more about economics like in-depth, what is going on in our nation. Basically, The faculty of the college is very nice, I believe that the one thing which matters the most is the environment where you work or study and if we talk about the ratio, the strength of teachers is around 150 only the teaching staff and the student is around 2500. The qualifications of the faculty are mostly PhD and Dr Only a few are ad-hoc. And this makes the teachers very smart and experienced. The term exams which were held after covid was a bit easy for the students because the half semester was passed in remote mode. Plus enough time was given to attempt the paper (half an hour extra).
I wanted this course only that's why I chose it. All faculty members are good and supportive. They teach well. All faculty are qualified from good colleges. And exam has been taking place at an interval of 5 to 6 months.
I chose it because of my interest in economics and because I love to study economics subject. my college ratio is too good 70%boy in my class and 30% girl. All teachers are good and understanding and all have good nature The class test is mandatory and every semester is internally held
I opted for BA in Economics honors. My batch had a 60-40 ratio of boys to girls respectively. Faculties do have good qualifications, you may even find their articles in newspapers like The Hindu but you may also face some professors who though qualified but you won't come through their teaching methods. Exams are held timely without any delay. My 50% semester ended playing volleyball with my batchmates and attending political science lectures as few of my friends opted for that, and the other 50% I attended my lectures. I studied 15 days before exams through Pmg videos, YouTube, and a little bit from shivas 10 years ( only theory). I got 1-2-3marksk on my attendance sheet and 11-13 on my assignment ( average of attendance and tests/assignment). I gave my exams and opted for 4 out of 5 or 3 out of 4 questions.
My Course is Eco Hons or B.A. (Hons) Economics. The student faculty ratio is a little low but The quality faculty we have in our college don't get affected by this. We have such a highly qualified faculty and their teaching methods are also osm. We have semester-wise exam every 6 months. And It's up to you how hard you study for that exam.
