Campus placements are okayish with varying graphs each year. The average package offered by campus placements is 17.6 lpa. My plans are to sit for placements and for an internship before that. I have an interest in consultancy more than tech.
I chose this course because I had a great interest in chemistry and maths from the start. There's one faculty for every 30 students. Professors are post-graduates and have a good level of knowledge. There are exams almost weekly quiz and vivas weekly. Mid-sem is every 2 months and the semester exam is every 4 months. The level of difficulty is next level. But the only problem is the course is outdated.
Placements are also very good. Avg. packed is around 20 lakhs. You are eligible for the placement in the 4th year of your degree. Also, lots of companies come for internships as well. The top companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc overall placement rate is 87%. My plan after getting the degree is to get into some of the companies mentioned above.
The main thing to choosing this department is of course placements. You get higher packages in the CSE department. Faculty are good. but you should study on your own or else, you will end up with backlogs. the exams here are very hard to pass as most of the people here are toppers from different places in India.
We can avail of campus placements from the 4th year and internships from the 2nd year. There is a body OCS (office of Career Services) that helps students in their internship and job-related affairs. The overall procedure is very smooth. IITs are known for their placement opportunities. The average package is 16 lac per annum and the highest can go up to 3cr per annum.
I chose this course because I have an interest in this. For me, it was not so difficult to clear the entrance exam. All the faculties got degrees from some of the well-renowned institutes of India. The teaching method was so cool. I mean the teachers made the subject interesting.
Placements at the IITs are generally considered to be one of the best in the country, and the institutes have a consistent track record of producing graduates who are highly sought after by leading companies in various industries. The IITs have a dedicated placement cell that works towards connecting students with potential employers. The placement cell at the IITs typically invites top companies from various industries, such as technology, consulting, finance, manufacturing, and e-commerce, to recruit students for internships, full-time jobs, and other opportunities. The placement process usually begins in the pre-final year, where companies come to campus to conduct pre-placement talks and written tests. This is followed by a series of interviews, group discussions, and other selection rounds. The placement cell at the IITs provides training and support to students to prepare for the placement process.
highest package 2cr average is 17 lakh. We become eligible in our 4th year. I would like to go for further studies in civil engineering after completing my degree. I don't think that companies go without making an offer.
I am interested in the course. All faculty member is experienced. And they taught us very practice. But they aren't able to give their knowledge to us because of class size is not short. All quizzes and mid-semester are scheduled for evaluation.
