Likes
- I like the exposure a person gets here by his/her seniors as senior junior relationship here is what I must say the best I have ever seen
- The campus is one of the best in the nation so u have a lot of space for everything
- Marketing and Strategy Professor - one of the best professors in India I swear
- The faculty to student ratio been one is to 6 is the best part of DMS
- Hostel life and co-classmates are the best part of any college
- Infra of the college is very good, all the classes are well equipped and supported with centralized AC.
- Peer group at IIT delhi is very good and it motivates you to go ahead in life.
Dislike
- In our discipline, there was no company available for an internship, so we had to do it at our college itself during summer vacation.
- Campus jobs are not available for BTech students; however, fees are charged according to family income, so not much aid is required.
- The mess menu is also quite boring, of not good quality, and moreover, depends from hostel to hostel.
- Few hostels are old, and the mess food is really bad. We dont have non-veg in the mess.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements in the 7th semester. There is a boom in placement in recent years. High packages up to 1 crore are up for holds. Many people get high salaries in a variety of domains.
Remarks:
For getting into college one needs to get a good rank in JEE ADVANCED exam. One needs to fill out the form for jee mains and then qualify it to appear for jee advanced. Then you need to secure a decent rank under 4000 to get into IIT DELHI.
Placement Experience:
From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. 1250 offers were made last year with almost all giant companies of India visiting the campus such as Google Microsoft etc. highest package is 1.5 crore and the average is 16 lakhs. almost 80 percent of students got placed. plan to do MBA after getting a degree.
Remarks:
The opportunity for changing your choices in further rounds should be given and the flexibility in providing choices according to the preference should be considered so that student who fails to fill their correct preference get a chance to get their dream branch of study.

Approximately all of the students get placements. After getting a degree I can either do a job or go into research. There are other opportunities as well like teaching. And IIT tag is best for anything in the corporate world.
Remarks:
For admission to IIT Delhi, you need to clear JEE Advanced. Then sit in JOSAA counseling and chose IIT Delhi CSE. IIT Delhi CSE is approximately available till air 100. The rest of the application and details are conveyed by IIT Delhi via mail. Though you can find them on the IITD site.

After 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement.companies like Google, Microsoft,oracle, Samsung Amazon etc come with job offer . Around 600+ company visited every year in placement with a job offers of total 1000+ job offers are offered to students Highest package was 2cr per annum last year for software engineer and data science analyst . highest package were offered by Microsoft and google Average package was around 20 lacs Around 90% students get placed in campus placement After getting the degree, i planned to get placed in campus placement.
Remarks:
For admission to Btech at IIT Delhi, you have to qualify for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The application form for jee mains is available on the NTA website and JEE advanced on Jee advanced website. The application fee for jee mains is rs 650 for general (male)and OBC (male) and Rs 325 for all other categories. The application fee for jee advanced is Rs 3000 for general(male) and obc(male) and rs 1500 for all other categories. If the family income is less than rs100000, then 100% course fee is waived, and if the family income lies between rs100000 to rs600000, then 66.66% course fee is waived, and if the family income is greater than 600000, then you have to pay the full course fee. The admission process is smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Faculty members here are well educated and they are very serious with their work. They help all students so that no one gets left behind and they are quiet relies on the practical work more than the theoretical part.
Remarks:
For coming to IIT we have to clear 2 examinations named JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. I cleared JEE mains with a percentile of 94.6 and I cleared JEE Advanced with 1 mark above ST cutoff that was 31 that year in 2021. I got IIT Delhi(Textile technology) as my branch here. So the admission process was lengthy but easy.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students are eligible for internship and in 4th-year students are eligible for placement The number of companies visited last year was around 1200 And 1000+ jobs were offered to students The highest package is provided by companies like Google, Microsoft, oracle, apple, Amazon etc and the highest package is nearly 2cr per annum last year The average package is around 12 lacs provided by many companies like Samsung, reliance etc Almost 80-85 % of students get placed on campus placement My plans after completing my degree are either go in it sector or in my core sector as I'm in my 3rd sem, I'm exploring all the things so right now I'm not pretty much sure what career option I'm going with after pursuing my degree

Eligibility for admission in IIT Delhi is students have to qualify to jee mains first The cut-off for qualify jee mains (approximately) Gen-90%ile OBC-75%ile SC-60%ile ST-50%ile PWD-1%ile After qualifying jee main study have to give jee advanced on the basis of advanced rank IIT colleges are allotted The application form for jee mains is on nta or jee mains website while for jee advanced application form students have to visit jee advance website The tuition fee for sc/St is waived completely They have to pay the hostel mess and other charges The admission process is completely fine in my opinion

Jee Advanced was used during the admission procedure. The general category cutoff for my department(CSS)was 182 Rank;for information on additonal cutoffs, please visit the JOSAA website.i was able to obtain CSS level under the generl category because I received a145 lavel. Except for scoring 70-75% on the board exam in the 12th grade. JOASS website yo find the application form and deadline. If you are in OBC/EWS/SC/ST/Girls categories you get the benefit.

The admission process was through Jee Advanced. For my department (CS5) the cutoff for the general category was 185 Rank and for other cutoffs, you can refer to the JOSAA website. Personally, I got a 155 Rank, so was able to avail CS5 rank under the general category. There were no prerequisites for eligibility of course except securing 75% in board exams in the 12th class. You can find the application form, fees, and dates on the JOSAA website. If you belong to the EWS/OBC/SC/ST/Girls category you can avail of reservation benefits also. An improvement that I want to see in the admission process is that the website should work smoothly, currently, it just crashes every time.

I take an entrance exam called Jee Advanced. This exam has subjects cut off and also overall cut off for different manners with respect to their category. Application form are available on Google and application fees also depends on your category. There Reservation benefits are available.
