Course Curriculum Overview:

This course was very good. Also, it was in IIT Delhi. It had a large scope in the upcoming years. In a class, per 1 professor, there are around 5 groups which mean 5*50 students. Faculty qualification is higher. They require a PhD. After 1- 2 months there is an exam and not so difficult to pass as you should be regular in your studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very relevant as per industry standards, Faculty members are highly qualified researchers who research in their field of expertise. Though their knowledge can't be questioned, some of them are not excleent teachers. They just come in the class and read the slides, they don't care much about explaining the topic

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because firstly, it is a prestigious college and on the basis of my rank I was allocated this branch and I liked maths so I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:20. All the faculties are Ph.D. from internationally recognized colleges. There are 2 minor exams and 1 major exam and assignments and quizzes all are cumulated together to determine the grade out of 10, A being the highest grade. The exams are not difficult you just need to pay attention in class and you are good to go. The first minor is after one month of the semester and 1½ months after minor 1 is minor 2 and one month later is a major exam conducted.

Ques. What should I take: computer science, IIT Ropar, or production and industrial engineering, IIT Delhi?

● Top Answer By Sushmita Gupta on 01 Apr 23

If you are not sure which major to choose between computer science and any other program, and are willing to put in the same effort for either of the programs, then computer science can be a great option to consider. Computer science is a vast field that deals with the study of computers, software, and computational systems. Ques. How do I choose between IIT Delhi engineering physics, civil, production & industrial, and chemical engineering?

● Top Answer By Pawan Sinha on 05 Apr 23

I will restrict my answer to Engineering Physics and Chemicals only as I know the same only.  The major criterion followed at IIT Delhi by all the branches is a well-maintained CG. To secure good placements one has to constantly score a good CG throughout the program. During your admission, the department does not play any role but your 85 percent constraint on minimum possible strength does. Engineering Physics is a unique branch for those highly passionate about Physics and want to pursue higher studies in the same To secure core jobs, one has to move to MTech in Engineering Physics from BTech in Engineering Physics. For Chemical Engineering students, BTech is more than enough to secure decent packages and great research opportunities outside India. Consultancy and Analytics jobs are offered equally to students of all the departments  Engineering Physics graduates usually take up consultancy or IT jobs  Chemical Engineering is the most laid-back department of IIT Delhi with very flexible academics thus making it easy to maintain a decent CG throughout.  I wouldn’t suggest anyone go for Engineering Physics if they have no intention of pursuing it later. Instead, look for other options in BTech and explore your interests....Read more

Ques. Which is a better option: aerospace engineering in IIT Kanpur or production and industrial engineering in IIT Delhi?

● Top Answer By Saugata Nayak on 10 Apr 23

IIT Kanpur has several advantages over IIT Delhi. A few are mentioned below: Unlike IIT Delhi, branch change facility is not restricted to the first year only and one can change branches even after the 2nd year   IIT Kanpur offers an enriched campus life with great relations between students as well as students and faculty.  There are no LAN restrictions at IIT Kanpur whereas, IIT Delhi restricts usage of LAN from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.  Lastly, once you enter IIT, your branch rarely matters. Your placements solely depend on your CG, your skills, and the efforts you invested throughout. So, go for a branch that matches your area of interest and you are good to go....Read more
