What students say about IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology [IITD]

Likes

  • College life is amazing and the college is itself amazing with excellent infrastructure
  • Here at campus everything is very good, but I ve visit other IITS also so the best part of my college is safety of myself and my things.
  • The faculty is also amazing and every course present in this collage gives many opportunities
  • A lot of new and different people we are able to meet.

Dislike

  • Balancing out academics and extra curricular activities are difficult as hell
  • There are not many things which we dislike but comparing to other iits the campus size is small
  • The gender ratio of students can be improved as there are very few girls present
  • And inter hostel movement of boys and girls are prohibited as in comparison to other IITs there is inter hostel movement is allowed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was chosen due to the rank cut-off. There is a lot of faculty that are well qualified and all staff are very helpful. But the term exams were really difficult though and were held at the end of the semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of interest. The student-faculty ratio is 1:15, which is best according to national standards. The faculties are highly qualified and trained professionals. The teaching process is the best among the colleges in the country. 3 exams per semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have a bio and maths background so I will be able to cope with the courses also I was not getting computer science so I choose college over a branch. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 15:1. It depends on the time to cover a particular course. If the professor has enough time he will try to explain it to everyone to the best ability but as the exam approaches the speed of the lecture generally increases causing difficulty in understanding.
