PRSU offers a full-time MA course of 2 years in regular mode. It is offered in 17 specializations namely English, Psychology, Rural Development, Clinical Psychology, Chhattisgarhi, Economics, Applied Philosophy and Yoga, Hindi, Linguistics, Sociology, History, Statistics, Ancient Indian History And Archaeology, Geography, Philosophy, Mathematics, Anthropology. The minimum eligibility requirement is to have a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks. The admission is based on the university entrance exam.

PRSU MA Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who have studied or completed their graduation in the same field are eligible to apply for the chosen field, OR
  • If a candidate is preparing for their final year exams are also eligible to apply for the Master's program, OR
  • Candidate must be a graduate in the relevant discipline with minimum marks of 50%

PRSU MA Admission Criteria

For getting admission in any MA course, a candidate needs to pass the entrance test conducted by the university.

Online Mode:

  • The candidate needs to visit the PRSU’s official site.
  • After that, register yourself on the portal with a valid Email ID and Password.
  • The candidate must be filled with all the required details in the application form.
  • Once the candidate fills the application form, then the payment for the same can be made through internet banking or credit card/ debit card (as per the convenience).

Offline Mode:

  • The candidate can obtain a print format from the university campus.
  • The candidate must fill in all the requisite details in the application form.
  • The payment for the application form can be made through a demand draft of INR 400 payable to the Registrar,Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur.

Application Process:

  • Each student will get a chance to select any affiliated college from the 261 colleges.
  • Students need to fill up the application form, upload the requested documents, and pay relevant fees.
  • Then prepare for the entrance exam and appear for the same on the stipulated date.
  • If selected, your name will appear on the merit list. The merit list is prepared using graduation scores as well as the marks obtained in the entrance test.
