Hyderabad University MTech Admission 2024 will begin soon. Registrations for the MTech program can be done on the official website @acad.uohyd.ac.in. Admissions to the MTech program are based on GATE scores followed by counselling. Hyderabad University M.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for different M.Tech. programs vary, and are listed below.

• M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence/ Computer Science/ Information Technology - Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc.
• M.Tech. in Integrated Circuit Technology - Candidates must score at least 60% marks in B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering/Physics with Electronics as one of the subjects.
• M.Tech. in Bioinformatics - Candidates must have 60% in their B.Pharmacy or 55% marks in masters in Physical Sciences/Agricultural Sciences/ Chemical Sciences. 
• M.Tech. in Materials Engineering - Candidates must have a B.Tech/B.E degree in Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/Ceramics Engineering/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Production and Industrial Engineering.

Hyderabad University M.Tech. Admission Guidelines

Admissions to MTech at Hyderabad University are based on GATE scores followed by CCMT scounselling.

How to Apply?

1. Visit the official website of the university and register yourself by filling in all the required details.
2. After that you get the application form where you have to enter all the other details. Remember the details in this form must be correct and they should match with your other official documents.
3. Once you have filled the application form, the required documents must be uploaded in the mentioned format. 
4. Candidates must enter all the details related to GATE, which includes subject, hall ticket number, score, etc. Remember every detail must be accurate.
5. The students are then required to enter every academic detail up until graduation.

Once a candidate has filled all the required forms and uploaded all the documents, one has to pay the fees online to send the application form. The application fee varies depending on the social groups one comes from. It is 600 INR for a candidate from General Category, 275 INR for SC/ST, 400 INR for O.B.C, and 550 INR for Economically Weaker Sections.

Hyderabad University M.Tech. Course Details

The University of Hyderabad offers M.TECH. in six fields. All of them are four-semester programs which include two-semester of course work and two-semester of project work. A semester can be anywhere between 7-16 weeks long depending on the course. All these programs aim to impart in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge to students in order to help them master a specific field of engineering.
