- This course will give students a thorough understanding of power electronics, electric drive systems, smart grids, wind power, photovoltaic, and other distributed generation systems.

Electrical power engineers need to be able to work in multidisciplinary teams and to show organizational and commercial skills alongside technical knowledge. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electrical Power from a recognized university.
- Students with other subject qualifications, equivalent professional qualifications and/or relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- 55% (52% from Delhi/Mumbai/Pune Universities) for one-year courses requiring a 2:2
- 60% (60% includes Delhi/Mumbai/Pune Universities) for one-year courses requiring a 2:1
- 60% (60% from Delhi/Mumbai/Pune Universities) for all two-year courses requiring a 2:2 or a 2:1
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
