Why this course?
In the military arena, aerodynamic modelling and flight dynamics play an important role in the design and development of combat aircraft and unmanned air vehicles (UAVs). The continuing search for aerodynamic refinement and performance optimisation for the next generation of aircraft and surface vehicles creates the need for specialist knowledge of fluid flow behaviour.
The MSc in stems from the programme in Aerodynamics which was one of the first masters' courses offered by Cranfield and is an important part of our heritage. The integration of aerodynamics with flight dynamics reflects the long-term link with the aircraft flight test activity established by Cranfield.Ê
Graduates of this course are eligible to join the Cranfield College of Aeronautics Alumni Association (CCAAA), an active community which holds a number of networking and social events throughout the year.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- A first or second class honors degree in mathematics, physics or an engineering discipline
- Several years of relevant work experience can also be considered as equivalent
- Applicants not fulfilling any of the above criteria need to complete a pre-masters course
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS Academic: minimum 6.5 overall with 5.5 in each subject
- TOEFL: minimum 92 in IBT and minimum skill component scores of 18 reading, 17 listening, 20 speaking and 17 writing
- PTE: minimum 65 overall and 59 in all skill components
- Cambridge Assessment: minimum 180 overall and 160 in all skill component

Course Curriculum:
Cranfield university and the international experience are of great help to prove your skills.
Because I wanted to learn aircraft design and this was the most famous MSc in Europe
Course Curriculum:
As mentioned earlier, the curriculum of the course is based more on practical methods rather than theory. For example, one of the courses which is Flight Experimental Methods - required us to conduct in-flight experiments (we had about 7 flights) and process the data collected to study aircraft performance. We had several guest lectures conducted by hands-on people in the industry who could give a clear picture of what is expected of us when we enter the industry. The research project which runs in the second half of the course was a major learning curve for me during the course tenure. It requires you to step out of your comfort zone and push your limits to the fullest.

£20,500 is the program fee.
