Vidhi Ahluwalia Review at University Of Warwick, Coventry | Collegedunia

It's been a great experience

VA
6.8 /10

Due to its ranking for my particular course. It also was well located and I preferred a campus-based university and not a city-based and this was perfect for that as well as the campus is very nice.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum is really good as you can choose any of your modules in your second and third year and can also take a year off to work in the industry. Academics are good but it is a bit tough to solely understand through the lectures and you made need tuitions to fill in the gaps.

Exams :

You had to submit a personal statement and your predicted grades. Also you had to take an IELTS test We did not have any interviews

Placement :

Many companies come on campus for the careers fairs as well as to help with societies. The placement process is also very great and the staff is very helpful. Alumni networking is great you can get in touch with the alumni base the university has put in place

Internship :

I interned at an SME called A&E Construction and their stipend amount was 9 pounds per hour. The overall process was straight forward you needed a CV, cover letter, and had an interview. The process is more difficult for large companies.

Fees :

25000 pounds

Scholarship :

I did not receive any scholarship

Faculty :

The faculty and staff are most approachable and would love to help out if you have any doubts.

Hostel :

I live off-campus because I'm in my second year. It's 30 mins away by bus and there are student bus passes. Off-campus accommodation is slightly more expensive. I would recommend taking the time to look for a property.

6.8 out of 10
8.0/10Academic
9.0/10Accommodation
7.0/10Faculty
9.0/10Infrastructure
