Remarks :
The eligibility of the course is to pass Higher Secondary. The applications will be available in the college office and it is better to go their directly beacause applying online would delay the process. In the admission process there will be a interview held, the questions will be from your Higher Secondary only and mainly from computer science. After you get admission there, you can pay the fees through the college site or from the office itself. You can also get admission through merit by applying through the website of M G University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course beacause inlike the course. There several teachers and professor in the faculty and they teach us various subjects and they are friendly towards the students. Maximum 60 students can apply for BCA in this college. The faculties were with degree's M.tech, B.tech, MCA etc.. There Will be 2 exams in each semesters, first exam will be the internal exam which is having marks 40 or 80 and the second exam is the semester exam which will be conducted by the university which having 80 marks and the pass mark will be 24. It will be difficult to pass the semester exams.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship program should be done by the students itself. They will give only a single project and we need to complete accordingly, the project will be given as a group of students. The students need to complete till the date provided by the company.
Placement Experience :
The Placements will start form the 5th or 6th semester. Several companies will come and they will provide the cut off that will be any percentage or mark. Every companies provide there own list in the placement. My plan is to get a job after degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure compared to other colleges it is less in Chinma College. For first semester the fees will be 26,000 and through the semesters the fess will be reduced to 22,000, 19,000 etc. Scholarships will be for SC/ST students.
Campus Life :
They will provides fests every year. It will end in a single day. There several clubs in the college and there is also NSS in the college. There Will be several program in the arts and sports day. Onam, Christmas and Dussehra were celebrated in the College.
Interview Experience :
The topics were mostly from data structure it was very difficult. First, they will provide some test and then tell us to enter some codes related to the questions. In group discussion we handle it swiftly. There are several classes for the students to help them to get a placement.
