Remarks :
To join the IIIT ,NIT, GFTI you have to take an entrance exam whose name is JEE MAIN. when you qualify for that exam there is a cut off depending on the college college when you cross the cut off criteria you will get a college based on your performance and your choice list There is also reservation benefits for those students who belong to lower category (SC,ST,OBC,EWS) and there is also a reservation for girls students if any students basically girls have a very good chance to join because in engineering colleges number of girls students are very less that why colleges have a criteria that is minimum 30 or 40 percent girls admission is required that depends on college after when you cleared the jee main exam and when you clear the category wise cutoff there is a exam which is JEE ADVANCE when you cleared this exam you will get a IIT(Indian institute of technology)college and i think that you all know the benefits of being a part of IIT NIT IT these colleges are well known.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This college is very good actually I am in Indian institute of information technology dharwad (IIIT) you all know the benefits of government college in India I prepared for the JEE MAIN exam and when I selected i got iiit Dharwad , institute of national importance which is based on public-private mode firstly I want to say about faculties however some faculties are good but most of the faculties are not good and the ration of faculty and students is good as I can say but faculties are not good most of the faculties are qualified with NIT and IIT and some faculties completed there PhD degree from out of India semester is very short less than 5 months and in exam, faculty decide to create the paper it's on their mood if they want to fail most of the students they create a hard and length paper that is based on advanced type however some faculties are very good they think about our future and they do not create a very hard paper because in a very short time how students can solve the hard.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not heard about internships from my college many students do internships by themselves Nvidia is one of the best companies that visited here .yess some of the professors are very good and they want us to build a good project that can help future generations also I am working on an embedded based project.
Placement Experience :
In this scenario, placements are not good many companies do not prefer to come to this college because of some layoffs and other reasons however last year's highest placement was 35 LPA and the average Placement was 11.50 Lpa i am planning to get the software development job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
if I talk about fees and scholarship programs in iiit Dharwad so i want to say that anybody can be admission to iiit dharwad because I belong to a middle-class family and the fees of this institute are very high however you can take loans and all but fees is very high approximately 1600000 for complete 4-year BTECH program for me it's a very high amount to pay and the government gives some scholarships to lower background students per fees is very high no one can fill it by himself some government-issued scholarships like NSP scholarship that is given by the government.
Campus Life :
in IIIT Dharwad annual fest is IIIT HABBA which was held in recent times there is no technical fest and all classrooms are very big and good. in my college there is a library that is a good side of college there are also some clubs like cricket basketball singing club technical club and dancing clubs and many more clubs are there.
