Perspective of an Engineering Student of IARE college

Remarks :

PCM in 12th is the eligibility. Should qualify EAMCET. Free of cost education if they belong to SC/ST/BC-E category. Admission process is very good and easy. You just have to qualify the eamcet and apply the college. After that you must verify your certificates. Then join the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum is very good and the teachers and faculty are using digital tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation and digital Televisions to teach the overall subjects. Many people also have in depth knowledge in the subjects as they are doctorates. The cons are some of them just read ppt and don't consider teaching it from a practical point of view.

Internships Opportunities :

As an Intern myself, the internship opportunities vary department-wise. Some Departments allow students to explore and gain real-world experience and give them reference letters and recommendation letters from the department. Whereas some departments do not allow students to do internships. By the way, the college curriculum states that any student who has a Cumulative Grade Point Average that is CGPA above 7.5 in their sixth semester can do a Full Semester Internship in which ever organization they want to and the college will back them up. The students who want to explore foreign countries and do internships abroad can also do internships in certain universities which have a Memorandum of Understanding MoU signed with the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering college. In the 8th semester which is the final semester of the Bachelor of Technology B.Tech curriculum, the students can do internships wherever they want to.

Placement Experience :

Placements in the college are average and the companies that visit don't offer higher packages to non-IT stream students. Most of the students will be placed at the end of the academic year but mostly into mass recruiting companies with low packages. The highest placement is 23 LPA at Amazon Average is 4-5 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. 20-25 Companies visit the college every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is quite high as students have to pay 90000 rupees per year. The eligible students who have reservation can avail scholarships which covers full fee reimbursement from the Government of Telangana. Telangana Epass is the name of the scholarship.

Campus Life :

The campus life at the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering is good and better compared to many other same-tier engineering colleges. The Aeronautical Department has a wind tunnel, which is a very rare thing in colleges in Hyderabad. The wind tunnel helps and teaches the students to get a real-world scenario and helps them test their products. They also have real aeroplanes in collages but they won't work. To get an outer structure idea, that can help people studying Aeronautical Engineering. The college has many clubs which help you shape your ideas into real-world prototypes. For example, there is the Entrepreneurship Club of the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, E Cell, which motivates and helps students who are interested in Entrepreneurial ideas and provides them with weekly interactive sessions with successful entrepreneurs and guides. There are great library facilities with many engineering books available. Good weather at the campus location is an add-on for the campus life.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are very good and clean. The hostels are accompanied with high speed internet and good food. Travelling from hostel to college could be an issue. The college bus facility is also available for hostel students. The hostel of the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering college is not located near the colllege but it is present at the main campus of Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology, Engineering college which is shared by the students of both Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology college and Institute of Aeronautical Engineering college students. College hostel costs around 90000 per year that is Ninety Thousand Rupees per year which is a single time payment needed to be done in college itself. The hostel students have many events compared to day scholars and also the hostellers or hostel students will be getting free access to hostel bus every day. The hostels provide lack in connectivity to the city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this to get a degree in computer science which I thought would be better for me. The course curriculum is good as of now. The faculty-and-student ratio is okay too. But all of the faculty here are contract-based I suppose but are of good knowledge. The faculty inspires students to gain knowledge and motivates them to be independent as much as possible. They train students to be disciplined and are strict in that term. The teachers are also well qualified and of a good experience. The term exams got postponed due to the weather conditions and state holidays but apart from that, every other exam is conducted timely. But I would blame the correction for the pass percentage of the students from the university, though you would find the paper to score well.
