Remarks :

You would have to qualify for JEE mains, conducted by NTA, and then get a good rank in JEE Advanced. The details like form, fee and application dates keep changing. I would advise students to keep checking the NTA and JEE Advanced websites for updates and more information.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course comes under the "semi-circuital" category. There are just 72 seats in B tech plus dual degree for this course, so the student-faculty ratio is very nice. This is also considered to be a relatively "chill" branch, as there is not so much academic load, hence exams are not too tough to pass.

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Around 200 companies are visiting for internships. Students do research internships and crack off-campus internships as well. You can also intern under professors as well, even if they are from other departments or schools.

Placement Experience :

Final-year students sit into placements from December 1, between their last 2 semesters. There are around 300+ companies who visit our college. Some others do not take part in placements but invite students to their offices, not a typical off-campus offer. I'd say almost everybody gets placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are various scholarships offered by various government and non-government organizations to students of our college. Due to the transparency, students keep getting emails about various scholarships and can apply if they are eligible. Check the website of IIT KGP for more information.

Campus Life :

Campus life is just the best. Due to the non-availability of life outside campus, the student community at IIT KGP is very well-knit. There are over 60 clubs and societies cells currently operating. There are Olympic-class sports facilities for the majority of sports.

Hostel Facilities :

The facilities depend on which "Hall of residence" you are allotted. In our hall, things are pretty decent. Rooms are triple sharing in our hall but they are double or single in majority of halls. Still the rooms are big enough for three people in our hall. Mess food is decent, but better than general perception.

Hostel Fee : INR 26000 per year

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Yeah from 3rd year only, all the companies come to our college for the placement opportunity. The average placement percentage is around 70-80% in our college. There is also a team of members specially looking into the placement section. The highest package of our college is 51 LPA now

There are ment companies visit our campus and bulk students hire but if you don't they are responsibilities to off campus and getting the job. 50% of student have got their placement on the campus.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semister student become eligible for campus placement. The companies visited in my college are Tech Mahindra, Cognizant,Amazon,Byjus etc. In my college the highest package ranges around 22lpa and average page is around 3to4lpa. Every year in my college around 75 to 80% student get placements in top companies. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in an top company.
