Remarks :
I had to sit for the Adamas University entrance examination and then got selected. Then I visited the campus and filled in all the required documents for both the course and the hostel. There was no reservation. My course is BBA(Business Analytics) so for that it had a different entrance paper which is of moderate level I really liked their standard.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I'm interested in the business sector and also I have a dream of having my own venture. The faculties of Adamas University are A class. They are quite friendly and explain in a frank manner which is understandable for students. Most of the faculties hold a Ph.D. degree and a lot of them are aspiring Ph.D. graduates. The end-term examination is of moderate level which is not so hard to pass if classes are attended properly.
Internships Opportunities :
Till now I haven't received any internship but I took feedback from the seniors which is very positive. The Career Development Center offers various internships to students from every department but students may also find their internships outside by contacting CDC.
Placement Experience :
From the fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements and from the third semester, students become eligible for internships. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Airbus, ITC, Hike, etc etc. 90% of the students get placed. After getting my degree probably I'll sit for placements but will also look for better opportunities for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee hike is very minimal at Adamas University as compared to any other college. I feel the cost to study is just appropriate. I got an AU scholarship which halved the fees for my first semester. They also give financial assistance and on-campus internships with stipends.
Campus Life :
Adamas University conducts numerous fests and events including a tech fest named Signifiya and an annual fest named Adinova. It also conducts other fests alternatively. AU has one central library and other libraries one in each department. All the libraries are just awesome they consist of very helpful books. The classroom is very comfortable and consists of both white and smart boards. The University keeps on conducting different sports activities and also has a designated sports quota. AU has numerous clubs enhancing various skills namely entrepreneurship club, music club, dance club, social work club, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are also very good. The rooms are strictly cleaned every day. It has single, double, and triple accommodations for both boys and girls. The room consists of one comfortable bed, and one study table and they also provide buckets and mugs. The meal is based on Bengali food and the quality is awesome.
