Remarks :

Eligibility- Age limit: for general candidates minimum age is 17 years and there is no age limit. Examination name- NEET (National Eligibility Examination Test). The application forms are available at www.nta.nic.in.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was interested in a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. It is a 4-year course with a one-year mandatory internship offered by the college hospital. All the faculty members are renowned doctors with MDS degrees. Exams are held 4 times, three times internals, and one professional exam held by WBUHS.

Internships Opportunities :

The stipend is a very minimal amount of Rs.4000 and the internship is compulsory for the students to gain knowledge. It involves rotatory shifts to the eight departments of dentistry divided in the span of a year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is two types: State quota seats: in these seats, the government subsidizes the fees and the candidate has to be 240000/year. The candidate has to make the State quota cut-off. Management quota seats: here the candidates are required to just pass the cut-off of the exam and they have to pay an exorbitant amount of 640000/year.

Campus Life :

There are annual fests and freshers conducted by the college committee. The campus is huge and lush green. There are various clubs like science club, arts and literary club, etc. There are intercollege sports events and competitions. Classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art smart board and centralised ac.
