Remarks :
For admission to our college, the eligibility criteria are you have to score a minimum of 60% in 12th and 50% in the subject in which you are applying for honors. No entrance exams are taken by the university. The admission process is fully online you have to apply and submit your form through the University website and then the merit list will be published after the counseling process, and you will get admission. Then you have to submit your required documents like the 12th mark sheet, payment receipt copy, anti ragging certificate to the HOD. The cut-off was last time 70-75% in my course. Reservation benefits are available for only ST, SC, obc, and handicapped persons. The admission process is very easy so I think no improvement is needed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I chose this because the subject was easy for me as Computer Application was an elective paper in my 11th & 12th. Also, some of my teachers suggested me to pursue this so I chose this course. The teachers and professors are well-qualified and experienced most of them are Ph.D. holders. In my college, the faculty is divided into two categories. One is for arts, commerce, and law and the other is for science and management. The number of students currently studying here is 11000 (according to the University website). Semester exams are taken after 7-8 months. The exams are not hard but few papers may be. Teachers give suggestion questions before the exams so it makes it less hard for students. However, it depends on the students how much they have studied.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I am studying in Self-finance mode the fee is very expensive for me but for aided mode the fee is not the same it is much lower than in self-finance mode like half of the self finance mode. For my course the fee in self finance mode is 17820 per semester. But one pros is if you feels the fee is costly for you then you can apply for fee aid college gives this opportunity to few students with weak financial background. Also, you can apply for many scholarships like svmcm and another for st, sc, obc.
Campus Life :
The annual fest takes in February month also known as the RAIVARSI fest and the University gives you the opportunity to participate in the exhibition during the fest. The University has a library where you can access all the books for your course, and 51 journals. The University has facilities for sports. It has a playground for games like football, cricket, volleyball, etc. Social groups like the NSS National Service Scheme are available and you can also join the NCC National Cadet Corps.
