Shuats Life

Remarks :

The admission process is quite good. Eligibility for BSC(Hons) Agriculture is above 50% in 12th and 10th education. The reservation benefits are given on the fee by providing concessions. I need to see improvement in campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen the course because I am from an agriculture background family. The faculty and students ratio is quite improper. The qualification of faculty is not up to the mark, and need to improve their teaching. The exams are frequently every 1 month and by studying you can pass.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is quite expensive compared to the study, but the hike is less compared to other universities. But you will get harassed by asking for money for all the cultural activities and extra work. I did not get any assistance from the college for the placement, poor placements, and worst interview guidance.

Campus Life :

No fests and tech fests are conducted, they are only available for some departments only. You will have an enormous amount of books in the Library with an internet facility. The classrooms are really the worst thing in the university with no proper electricity and bench facilities. Sports is the best on campus with good practice grounds and motivative physical trainers on the campus. NSS, Shuats life, and shuats.edu.in are run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

For NRI hostels the rooms are fitted with split Ac's and safety net doors good cots and cushion beds and neat cleaning work. Meals are best and different types of food are served. Registration is quite simple and the hostel is good and expensive. It is inside the college itself and has full greenery.
