A TEMPLE OF LEARNING

Remarks :

I had opted for this college because one of my seniors had suggested me to join this college and even the college fees were reasonable. To join the bcom course the eligibility was 85% and above in the 2nd PUC. The application form can be found on the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the BCom course because I had studied in the commerce field in Puc and I knew that the Bcom course had a lot of career opportunities. The faculty-student ratio is 52:1020 in the entire college. Most of the lecturers have pursued Mcom or B.ed. There are 4 internals conducted in the whole year and there are 2 term examinations in the whole year. The difficulty of passing the exam was easy to moderate.

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible from the 6th semester and there are many placement talks conducted to enhance the knowledge of the students about different companies. The highest package now offered is about 6-10 lacs and the average package is 3 lacs. 60% of students get placed in the college. My plan is to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Actually, the fees are reasonable for 3 years. As expected there will be a fee hike in the following years. I had to pay 29000 as fees and the college uniform was not included in the fees and I had to pay 1000 for the uniform set. I have not got the job because I am pursuing my final year BCom but there are placements in the college.

Campus Life :

There are so many fests conducted in the college. Some of them are SYNERGY and SYGMA fests which are held in the month of November and there are many intercollege competitions that can enhance the talents of the students. There are about 3000 books, journals, magazines, Novels, and textbooks available in the college library and there is also an E-library system that the students can access at any time. The classroom has a smart board. There are volleyball, badminton, and Kabaddi competitions held in the college. There are 15 different associations and there are many competitions conducted in each association.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose commerce as I am interested in the business field. Every subject had around 7-8 faculty members for 6 classes. Students were approximately 70 in each class. The faculty had good qualifications. Their teaching process was easy to understand and the notes provided were also good. They were able to clear their doubts.2 FA exams were conducted and mid-term exam and then again 2 FA exams then the final. Exams were all moderate.
