Remarks :

Around 18 lac students sat for the NEET exam and the ones of good rank holders got the opportunity to get admission in our college R G Kar Medical College and Hospital as MBBS students. The process of our admission was so well performed and everyone was so helpful be it our seniors be it our professors. The admission was completed within some hours.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is 5.5 years. In this tenure of time, 4.5 years is for study and 1 year is for internship. In the time period of 4.5 years, one has to pass 9 semesters and 4 professional examinations with minimum marks of 50% in every subject. In total, there are 19 subjects. The professors in our college is so much helpful, every time available, the teaching process of some of them is so good that you can learn the topic for a lifetime.

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total Fee for the course is 40500. The fee per semester is 4500. After 4.5 years one student can get the privilege to be an intern in our college and earn a stipend(monthly around 30k). Then after 1 year of internship, one can get house staff ship for 1 year. Then after passing the NEET-pg or NEXT exam one can be Post Graduate Trainee in our college and the course is for 3 yrs. Then after that, there is an exam for specialization.

Campus Life :

The annual fest named Lobelia in our college is the biggest fest among all colleges in India. 5 days of Lobelia can be the most loveliest memory of one. It is a Grand Festival called 'Khalparer Durga pujo'. Except that arrangement of other fests, medical fests, cultural programs, sports events etc. happens very often by us and our seniors and juniors. The classrooms are best designed with good equipment like projectors, computers, and air-conditioners. Every department has its own practical lab and seminar hall. Our college students lead many cultural groups and are members of many research societies.

After the 9th semester, you have to join an internship in college. You will get a stipend of rs 30000 per year. Then you can join for house staff ship and renew it six monthly. After MBBS I want to go to the next pg.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very mesmerized by the doctors who were working day and night for mankind and saving people day and night with their hard work and dedication. I wanted to be like them and wanted to make my parents proud. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:20 The faculty are very good and helpful they always come forward to help us and teach us in a very simple way which is very easy to understand. The term exams occur at an interval of 6 months and it is quite difficult to pass.

I chose the MBBS course as I wanted to be a doctor and I have to do this course to be one. our total no. Of students is 250 and our student-to-faculty ratio is close to 30:1. The faculty members are really experienced in their own respective fields. The professional exams and semesters are a little difficult but you can pass easily by studying consistently for 3-4 hours a day. In the 5 years of MBBS, you will have 4 professional exams at the end of the year and 9 semesters.
