Remarks :

To apply for an MBBS course in any college, every aspirant must have PCB as the main subject in Std 12th and qualify for NEET. The application form is available on the NTA website. Fees for the NEET examination is 1600. Talking about the admission process, my admission process was very smooth. Every person associated with the process was very helpful and very sincere. There were seating arrangements for parents and guardians and also for the students. The main highlight of the admission process was arrangements....there were 4-5 computers to maintain the flow of the process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this noble profession because I love helping people and it's my childhood dream to be a good doctor. Talking about RG Kar, the faculty student is very nice. The ratio is around 5 students per 1 faculty. Every faculty of this great institute is highly qualified and are from institute all over India. They have at least 2- 3 degrees. Their teaching style is amazing. They are very helpful, they try their best to explain everything to students. Exams are held every 3 months and PCTs are held after the completion of a single unit. The exam is of moderate level and it is tough to pass the examination if one forgets to study.

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

After 4.5 years of MBBS study, an internship facility is provided for all the students. In the span of 1year of internship, Students are given the chance to practice in the hospital and also in various areas like Bagbazar, Purulia, Amdanga...

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee per semester is 4500. Total MBBS fees are 36000. There is no fee hike policy in the colleges of West Bengal. The government of West Bengal has made sure that there would be no fee hike no what how worse the condition gets. This is because R G Kar believes in providing education and treatment at the lowest possible cost.

Campus Life :

My overall experience as a khalu to date is amazing. There is no such thing as ragging in the campus. Every senior treats me like their brother. Our annual fest is Lobelia. It is held every year in the month of September. It is an event spanning 5 days. Many artists like Sonu Nigam, Farhan Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, Fossils Band and many famous personalities. Our library is fully air conditioned. Every book required for the course is available here for free. The library is the best place to study. There are many LTs where classes are held. All the LTs are air-conditioned and there are enough spaces for all the students. Every year before our annual fest Lobelia, a sports event takes place. Badminton, Cricket, Football, Table Tennis, and many other sports annual events are held every year. There are many groups like theatre Groups, Dancing groups, Quiz groups, Music groups, Fashion groups...and many others.

I was very mesmerized by the doctors who were working day and night for mankind and saving people day and night with their hard work and dedication. I wanted to be like them and wanted to make my parents proud. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:20 The faculty are very good and helpful they always come forward to help us and teach us in a very simple way which is very easy to understand. The term exams occur at an interval of 6 months and it is quite difficult to pass.

I chose the MBBS course as I wanted to be a doctor and I have to do this course to be one. our total no. Of students is 250 and our student-to-faculty ratio is close to 30:1. The faculty members are really experienced in their own respective fields. The professional exams and semesters are a little difficult but you can pass easily by studying consistently for 3-4 hours a day. In the 5 years of MBBS, you will have 4 professional exams at the end of the year and 9 semesters.
