Remarks :

The admission process was smooth. The process happened quickly and took very little time. You have to be selected to be able to qualify through all-India counselling or state counselling. The cut-off is quite high so it's hard to get in

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course includes a total of 19 subjects which are to be studied over a span of 4.5 yr after which we'll get a year of internship with a stipend of around 30k. The years are progressively tough but once you get in you'll get through.

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is quite simple. You'll have to give 4.5k per semester and that too it's not compulsory until the last semester so it's quite affordable. After you graduate you'll have the opportunity to work as house staff on the hospital premises or join any other hospital for the same qualification.

Campus Life :

The best social one can have in a medical college is right here at rgkar Medical College and Hospital. Almost each passing there's something going on on the campus. We have our annual fest named Lobelia which is the biggest fest conducted in east India booming with eminent personalities

Hostel Facilities :

Being a government hospital campus the hostel are a bit of a mess. Sanitation is the main issue as sometimes the cleaning staff won't clean. You have to share a room with 3-4 people depending on the capacity of that room

Hostel Fee : INR 144 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very mesmerized by the doctors who were working day and night for mankind and saving people day and night with their hard work and dedication. I wanted to be like them and wanted to make my parents proud. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:20 The faculty are very good and helpful they always come forward to help us and teach us in a very simple way which is very easy to understand. The term exams occur at an interval of 6 months and it is quite difficult to pass.

I chose the MBBS course as I wanted to be a doctor and I have to do this course to be one. our total no. Of students is 250 and our student-to-faculty ratio is close to 30:1. The faculty members are really experienced in their own respective fields. The professional exams and semesters are a little difficult but you can pass easily by studying consistently for 3-4 hours a day. In the 5 years of MBBS, you will have 4 professional exams at the end of the year and 9 semesters.
