Remarks :

The college requires a 12th pass with 75% marks to qualify for councelling. The application form is available after councelling after passing the NEET exam with the expected cutoff of the year. Reservation benefits are there. The admission process is really smooth and helpful. The college is one of the best top Medical colleges in West Bengal.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I always wanted to be a doctor and this was my dream college. Faculty: The student ratio is very high and enough high-quality Professors are available. The teaching method is sometimes with PPT and sometimes with hands-on. Passing the semesters really requires a good amount of studying and concentration.

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides 1 year of complete rotational internship. After that one can do housestaffship in a particular subject according to the ranks based on professional exams. There are various project opportunities available like ICMR

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is more or less fixed by the government of West Bengal. It is affordable for a middle-class student. Various scholarships are available for meritorious students. Financial assistance is also there.

Campus Life :

'Lobelia' is our college's annual fest. The academic fest is 'Therapeuo'. Both are conducted in the month of August-September. Various international authors' books are available in the library. The classrooms are full of AC, projectors, and large boards. Various sports events are organised during the fest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very mesmerized by the doctors who were working day and night for mankind and saving people day and night with their hard work and dedication. I wanted to be like them and wanted to make my parents proud. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:20 The faculty are very good and helpful they always come forward to help us and teach us in a very simple way which is very easy to understand. The term exams occur at an interval of 6 months and it is quite difficult to pass.

I chose the MBBS course as I wanted to be a doctor and I have to do this course to be one. our total no. Of students is 250 and our student-to-faculty ratio is close to 30:1. The faculty members are really experienced in their own respective fields. The professional exams and semesters are a little difficult but you can pass easily by studying consistently for 3-4 hours a day. In the 5 years of MBBS, you will have 4 professional exams at the end of the year and 9 semesters.
