Remarks :
My admission procedure was based on a merit list. I qualified MHTCET exam and I got the choice of DYPIEMR. My admission was under the OMS category as a general candidate. DYPIEMR follows govt mandate reservation policies, ensuring a fair process. In order to get admission there you either need to clear MHTCET or go through management quota. Management quota students do not get scholarships. The admission process was smooth and was done at the given time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The first two years they covered basic computer science concepts. The next two year is more AI and data science-specific studies. We have subjects such as data science Ai cyber security etc There are two batches each of around 70 students and every batch has two TGs so the ratio is like 35:1 . The Faculty is extremely qualified and has sufficient knowledge and degrees. Exams are frequent to ensure that the whole syllabus is covered on time.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for students who are admitted through the merit list is around 1.04lakhs and it is slightly more for management quota students. The scholarship is available in various categories for students through management quota. These scholarships are for Maharashtrian students only. There is no scholarship for a student taking admission through the management quota.
Campus Life :
There is a week fest in college in February that includes cultural day sports day, ethnic day, DJ night, etc. There is a frequent hackathon and tech fest happening in college. There are clubs such as ACM CSI Rotaract Club etc. that organise such events. There is a library that contains a variety of books and reference books that allow students to issue 3 books at a time.
