General review

Remarks :

I got cut off at about 185.14. I opted for counselling and I got a second round of counselling. I got a seat at KONGU Engineering College and the admission process was offline and paid the fees for the first year of around 100,000. The admission process was totally good and nothing bad in that.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is perfectly fine. Faculty members are so helpful in mentoring or guiding us in projects and subject doubts. I have choosen this course bcoz I have a personal interest in Computers. Faculties are more than enough according to the student ratio. Faculties are doctorates and well-versed in their subjects. The internal exams were between the time of 2 months and it was not much difficult for me to pass them.

Internships Opportunities :

Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro have offered internships and courses to us. Projects and outcomes are good in our projects. It's beneficial for us to get internships with stipends while studying so it's good for us.

Placement Experience :

From the 6th semester, we are eligible for placements. Infosys, Accenture, CTS etc., Have visited our college and around 250 offers they have made for us. The highest package till now is 1300000 and the average package is 800000. 98 per cent of students getting placed. Getting placed in a good company

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is proper and the facilities are properly arranged according to the fee structure. The cost of the study is about 100,000. I got a scholarship of 8000 from govt through the help of my college for it

Campus Life :

Life on campus was good. There will be festivals, cultural and symposiums conducted by each department monthly or annualy at the end. Books and journals are related to subjects which are more useful to us. Amenities and food courts are present then and there. Extracurricular activities are encouraged. There are many social clubs, professional clubs and software websites which are run by students like the Computer Society of India, gender equality club etc

Placement Experience:

There are placements for the students passing out but the jobs usually don't pay more than 15000 per month on average. The placements are not always equal to all departments like food technology department gets the most placements and biotechnology and other departments almost get no placements. The new management is doing a lot to improve the placement program.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a very good and interesting one. The faculty-student ratio will be 1 faculty for every 20 students All faculties are doctorates. Terms are twice a year and are moderately difficult but their teaching is enough to clear the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
