Remarks :

The eligibility for admission in this course is above 60 percent in the 12th public examination. The application form and the admission details will be available on the website of the college Siet.ac.in If the candidate is eligible for the reservation then he/she will be admitted to the campus with a 50% concession in their annual fee. Yearly admission is getting more and more and the admission team of our college guides the candidate in choosing their right career and make the process easy.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The is always scope for Food Processing and I have a personal interest in food processing and analysis. There are 10 Faculty members and students 700 in our department All our faculties have completed their PhD and have 2 to 3 years of industrial experience The syllabus will be set by the college management itself as it is an autonomous institute so the understanding of concepts and the basic knowledge with hard work is enough to crack the exams and the faculties are supportive during preparations.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 85000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The Parle Agro provides internships with a stipend of 15000, and we did a project based on the cookie backing and incorporation of unique flavours with the excellent guidance from our mentors and articles available.

Placement Experience :

from the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements ZIFO, PARLE AGRO PVT LTD, ITC, KTV FOODS PVT LTD are some of the top recruiters that visited our college, There are more than 45 recruitments happened in this season. 89 per cent of students get placed I have planned to become a food analyst in the well-established government laboratory

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If we are choosing to get a place in college through Counselling conducted by Anna University then the fee would be 85000, which will be the least, If the candidate is meant to be the first graduate in his family then he/she may pay 60000 per year. The college helps in arrangements for Government scholarships for Reserved category people Compared to other colleges the campus placement and stipend opportunities are very good

Campus Life :

Hackathon and International Food Conference will be conducted every February of the year. The books that are prescribed in the universities of IIT and NIT are present in our library and we have access to various research articles which are up to date. We have a Smart Board With a Desktop Facility in Every classroom with A/C NCC, Entrepreneur Development Community, Research Community, and Media Guild, are the clubs present in our college Along with that, we have an official page on Instagram and YouTube.

Placement Experience:

There are placements for the students passing out but the jobs usually don't pay more than 15000 per month on average. The placements are not always equal to all departments like food technology department gets the most placements and biotechnology and other departments almost get no placements. The new management is doing a lot to improve the placement program.

I am really interested in this group. Students 40 to 50 are present in this course. Teaching methods were very good and time properly maintained. A little bit difficult for that. but it is like it. The time of the exam is 5 to 6 months period.

TNAU course facility and faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
