Remarks :
The candidate must have taken SUCSTU i.e. Somaiya University Common Entrance test and they have to qualify with 55% or more in HSC or equivalent courses. This is the main process for admission they shortlist the students after SUCETU. The candidate must have English and maths as the main subjects. They can apply from the Somaiya website. The application form fees are 500rs for open and nearly 250 for reserve castes. I don't know properly about other reservation details but, for EWS there are 10% of seats are available and for improvements, I dont think they need to make any improvements their processes are transparent are easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The main curriculum for this is to make students strong in computer science. This covers all topics programs algorithm databases DSU and all other important topics. The faculty are good and they behave very nicely to the students and they do 1 to 1 interaction with students. The teaching method is really good and understandable to students. Talking about term exams they held twice a year. Look, from my point of view, the difficulty level is high in exams only for the student who doesn't pay attention, and for those students who study well and pay attention in their studies the exam is comparatively easy.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is fees for 1st year:-1,40,000, 2nd year:- 1,30,000, 3rd year:- 1,20,000, and this varies from categories for scholarship students, There are different types of scholarships one of them is the Somiya scholarship. Somaiy university for lots of campus placements to the students. Overall, the cost for general caste students is nearly 4lakhs.
Campus Life :
The social life in Somaiya is cool and nice. The college campus is so vast and there are many things to explore on campus there are many bands and many events are occur on campus. The social life is great there is too much fun we do on campus and explore many more things. The building's infrastructure is unbelievable.
