Remarks :

The admission process was through the tnea counselling and got selected through cut-off marks. The application form can be found and acquired from the college management itself and reservation benefits are given according to the government instructions

Course Curriculum Overview :

I personally chose this course because this was a tie-up with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The student-faculty ratio can be found somewhere around 20:1..Most of the teachers are PhD holders and have vast experience in their respective fields. Exams are conducted every month and it is not very difficult to pass

Class Size : 10Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are somewhere between 100000 and 130000 per year. There are few scholarships awarded in the first year on the basis of the cutoff marks and using the cgpa of the following years like the LMS scholarship etc.

Campus Life :

Annual techs and festivals are mostly conducted in the even semester of every year and this college is very well known for its astounding auditorium. Books are provided by the college itself unlike the other colleges and the Library is about 4 floors with an abundant number of books. Not very much sports supporting college and many clubs and cells and even IEEE is also a very big part in this college

Placement Experience:

There are placements for the students passing out but the jobs usually don't pay more than 15000 per month on average. The placements are not always equal to all departments like food technology department gets the most placements and biotechnology and other departments almost get no placements. The new management is doing a lot to improve the placement program.

The course is a very good and interesting one. The faculty-student ratio will be 1 faculty for every 20 students All faculties are doctorates. Terms are twice a year and are moderately difficult but their teaching is enough to clear the exams.

Tissue culture and transformation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am really interested in this group. Students 40 to 50 are present in this course. Teaching methods were very good and time properly maintained. A little bit difficult for that. but it is like it. The time of the exam is 5 to 6 months period.

TNAU course facility and faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
