Remarks :
The admission process was smooth and easy. I was told the submit the admission form and 2-3 days later I had an interview which was pretty easy as the interviewer focused more on my communication skills and my general knowledge. I found out about ISME through a friend of mine and applied because of the extra benefits they were providing with the course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose B.com because I always wanted to start my business and also have a bit of financial background instead of only a business administration background. The faculty-student ratio is very good, the faculty is approachable no matter what the problem is or what the doubt is, and faculty use day-to-day activities as examples while teaching which helps in understanding the concepts. Most of the faculty members have PhD's and enough teaching experience.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies offer internship programs for students. Sometimes it can also be a super internship. The college also takes students to Singapore for 10 industrial programs where students are taken to different companies and shown how the business works.
Placement Experience :
From what I have heard, the placements are really good. MNCs come and recruit students and also offer good salaries for a fresher. Some companies also offer good internship programs for students. Mostly majority of the students get placed and some go for higher studies. My plan is to go for higher studies after finishing B.com.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is pretty affordable. There isn't much of a hike in the fees. It stays the same throughout the whole course. College does help students get scholarships, financial assistance, etc. While the admission process is taking place. Later they also send links to government-approved scholarships to help students.
Campus Life :
The campus isn't that big, but it has up-to-date technology which makes learning a lot easier. Classrooms have these huge TVs in which all the lesson plans, ppt's, are projected. There are many clubs in ISME. Here there's also an Entrepreneurship club where students get to learn more about how to handle businesses, and come up with new ideas.
