Remarks :

More than 55% in plus two with mathematics is the eligibility criteria to apply for this course. Application is via the online portal of the University of Kerala. There are reservations to every category like SC, OBC, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is superb for higher studies and to secure a job even after graduation. The course also has a BSc equivalence as it provides graduation in both mathematics and Economics. It will be in 6 semesters. The faculty is really nice and also qualified.

Class Size : 43Course Fees : INR 1600 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships will be offered by TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Superset, etc. They will be providing tasks that a just graduate can do. It will benefit students. The Skillbertex will also be providing internships for students.

Placement Experience :

There will be placement opportunities offered by companies like Infosys, Wipro, Federal Bank, TCS, etc. The college will be providing help to secure you a better placement through college placement cells under faculties.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee will be below 2000 INR each year. There will be an exam fee of around 1500 for each semester which the student has to remit by himself. There will also be grants and other scholarships provided by governments.

Campus Life :

There will be celebrations on each occasion like Onam, Christmas, women's Day, etc. And there will be arts and sports meet also. Although there will be a grant event named Biennale organized by the students union in the college.

Hostel Facilities :

You will be providing a 4-sharing room in the hostel. The hostel fee will be around 6000 every month. Food will not be that high quality for the given price. The bathroom and room will be clean every time.

MY REVIEW OF ST THOMAS COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

All students in the college becomes eligible for placement drives from 5th semester. A lot of companies like wipro, cognizant, deloitte, etc. approaches the students for placements. A basic package is usually given by all companies which averages to 2 lpa. Almost 20% students gets placed and i am also planing for it.

I chose this course because I love language and English happens to be my favorite. I also love writing. During my time, there were about 35-40 students in a class. Overall, I would say the teachers were able to handle us. The qualifications of the faculty are excellent. The exams are also on time, difficulty is on a medium level.

I love the Arabic language that's why I chose this course it is the prominent and oldest department, which was established on 19/06/1967. Multimedia is one of the latest courses and it is very useful for students who are looking for a career in the media field.
