Prasanjeet Mohanty's Review On Gandhi Institute For Technology - [GIFT], Bhubaneswar | collegedunia.com

My intership journey

Remarks :

You need to have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as your compulsory subjects and a minimum of 50 as an average in these subjects. You can get the complete details of the courses that are to be provided by the institute and the fee structure by contacting the college on the Google given numbers or the website. The seat booking amount is around 5000 which is refundable if you decide not to take the admission. They provide many scholarships like e Kalyan if you have reservation quotas. The admission process is very smooth and they even send you a college-owned car to pick you up from nearby locations. Would recommend taking admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I found the conversation very engaging and the commitment they had to provide very strong regarding the teaching quality and the placement opportunities The faculty is very good and supportive and as my batch had 180 students in computer science so we got about 1 teacher per subject for 60 students. Most of the teachers had a doctorate and were highly knowledgeable of their respective departments. The exams were held at a gap of around 5 to 6 months and someone who has been very attentive won't find it very difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

Intellipaat was a company that hires interns and paid around 22k per month. The projects were divided into two parts minor and major and did face mask detection using open computer vision for the major for which there were external evaluators.

Placement Experience :

Depending on the course you have enrolled for the students become eligible from the 5th semester itself for Btech and the 2nd and 3rd sem for diploma and MBA. Many companies such as Wipro, Xoriant, Byjus, Intellipaat, Cozentus, etc. have visited and hired 80% of the students Right now I am looking forward to being in the job and growing my career in ed-tech itself.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of B.Tech per year is around 70-80K for day scholar and an extra 60-70K for the pals willing to stay in a hostel. I got a discount of around 30k on my overall course fee which was deducted from midterm and a very good starting job as a technical research analyst at an ed-tech company.

Campus Life :

The Festronix committee and the sports, gymnasium, and extracurricular activities are the groups run by students which help you to run your team. Although the music and indoor game don't have much variety and the options are limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have intersected in computer, coding, and technology. Its curriculum is well good and the faculty members are so cooperative. Here faculty ratio to the students is approx 1: 20 which is good according to other private colleges. Here most every faculty is Ph.D. qualified and their teaching method is so practical. Exams are done with due time as after 1 - 1.5 months after the semester starts they take the midterm exam and after 1.5-2 months take the end sem exam. Exams are medium-level.
