Kiran's Review On Jawaharlal Nehru National College Of Engineering - [JNNCE], Shimoga | collegedunia.com

JNNCE an amazing experience

Remarks :

Admission can be done in three categories: Through KCET, Through ComedK, and through Management quota. Application fees and details about the admission process and the college can be availed by visiting the college or through their official website http://jnnce.ac.in.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course follows Visweswaraya technological university(VTU) syllabus and Visweswaraya technological university curriculum. Faculties are well experienced. Opportunity to develop skills and technical knowledge is provided.

Internships Opportunities :

Ekathva Innovations, one of the companies founded and run by one of our alumni provides internship opportunities in multiple domains for all the branches of engineering except for Civil and Mechanical, and placed students can also get opportunities from the company they're placed for.

Placement Experience :

Placements are fair for a tier 3 college having an average salary of 3.5 Lakh per annum. The highest salary to date is 25 Lakhs per annum and around 45 companies on average visit for campus placements every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for KCET is considerably most affordable and worth it too. The cost for ComedK is a bit high compared to that of KCET and would be better than management quota seats. Management seats are so expensive and not worth the course they offer.

Campus Life :

Once every year, there will be a college fest JANVEY, and together each branch of engineering will have its events and fests. Cultural activities and Sports are part of these events and help develop co-curricular activities as well.

Placement Experience:

Placements are excellent at BMSCE students get placed from the 5th semester onwards. Some companies which visit include Infosys, Intel, hp, Cisco, etc. The highest package will be 40 to 50 LPA each year and the average package is around 9lpa. In CSE the placements are almost 100% but considering all branches it's around 80%. I am planning to do a job after my degree.

I chose this course because it's my passion I wanted to be an engineer Faculty-student ratio is quite good Teachers are well qualified but lack experience but they are ok with the teaching method There are 2 sem exams in a year and they conduct 3 internals in each sem It's pretty hard to pass these sem exams but if we study a bit we can easily pass them

Placement Experience:

The students who are in the 7th Sem will be eligible for campus placement the placement training sessions will be conducted for every year students but the actual placement drives all start by the 7th semester. The placement of our college has been increased recently this year almost there was a 90% placement. There were students with more than 5 opportunities also. My plan is to get placed in good company during my degree I hope I may do it. This year the highest package offered was 10 lac per annum by byjus company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course in this college is electronics and communication. This particular branch of engineering is considered the ever-green branch. The working of satellites and the machines of signals have always fascinated me hence I went for this branch. Ece is considered a difficult branch of engineering but the faculty here work hard to make this course easier for the students. All the facilities teach in a way that both the fast and the slow learners can learn and grasp all the concepts. The facilities here interact with the students and help them overcome their problems and help them Excel to their full potential. The faculty members here are highly qualified and experienced. Many of the members here are PhD holders as well as IITans
