Appa Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET) is managed by the Sharnbasaveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha along with an aim to adopt innovative methods of teaching. It offers Undergraduate program in Engineering in 5 streams and Postgraduate program in 2 streams along with Research program in 5 streams. In AIET, the admissions for Undergraduate program are based upon CET and COMED – K exams and for Postgraduate programs it will be based upon GATE score.

It has Training and Placement cell which provides training to the students so that they can prepare themselves for aptitude tests, interviews and group discussions. It also provides basic and advanced training of soft skills and personality development to the students so that they can easily face the challenges in future.

N.C.C. Air Wing Facility - It is the first institution of Karnataka which provides air force training to the technical graduates so that they can become highly discipline and eligible to take up the challenging carrier life in Indian Airforce.
