Student's Review On Maharaja Agrasen College - [MAC], New Delhi | collegedunia.com

Maharaja Agrasen College (Delhi University)

Remarks :

The admission is entrance-based I had to give the CUET (Common University entrance test). To register we need to open the registration site provided by the NTA (National testing agency) and select whichever government or private colleges or universities we want to register for and continue. There is a certain amount which is very minimal for the registration fee.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Currently, I have given my 1st-semester exam there is a common University test paper that is the same for all the colleges under the university and that particular subject. The paper pattern was intermediate some easy questions as well as some tricky questions.

Internships Opportunities :

Around 78% of students got placement from our campus. Students got the post of junior assistant accountant and assistant accountant. Students were sent to reputed organizations for internships in a variety of fields ranging from Media to Banking to Management. It has provided them with internships so that they could gain some practical experience in their fields of interest.

Placement Experience :

The highest salary package offered is around 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is about 3 LPA. Almost 65% of the students got placed based on their skills, competence, and character in companies like Accenture, Samsung, Idea, Vodafone, etc. I plan that I'll try to get a good corporate position in one of the most prestigious companies in India.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are one-fourth or even lesser in comparison to other private colleges which takes lakhs and lakhs of money. Now as I'm just a first-year student I don't have a job but some students have got many internships that pay stipends of up to 40,000 per month including many scholarships and financial assistance.

Campus Life :

There is a great infrastructure with a gym, ground, and all facilities. There are proper boys' and girls' hostels with adequate water supply and ground. Canteens are also proper with all the requirements. Around the college, there are many shops to hang out and have lunch, dinner, etc. The library is huge with all books available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bcom Honours, it's quite an interesting course where you focus on different areas but in most semesters you have accounts as a core subject. Faculty is kinda nice and good where you can talk with lectures about problems and inquiry Lecturers helps with problem if you face in college, though the admin office works very slowly and you often see students in the window of the admin office because there was a mistake

Placement cell works very hard in our college to get placement for students with good internships and placement packages. there are so many companies visiting, the average package would be more than 4 lakhs rupees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was pursuing a professional course, so I can manage my studies easily. My college has an average faculty-student ratio. Teaching methods are also good in the college. Term exams were every six months and they were not that difficult to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in it. The faculty is very good and gives their best time to time and they not only cover course but help in life advises also. The faculty is supportive. There is only one exam semester exam which is easy to pass and there is some internals that is of 25 marks and the exam is of 75 marks. Internal includes assignments, tests, and 5 marks are of attendance. The faculty is well educated and the teachers too good. If you are regular in your classes then you will score well as you can ride with the flow of the teacher. The faculty knows how to complete the syllabus within time with all the concepts cleared .some teachers are average but the majority of the faculty is supportive. They advise you in every manner they can. Doubts are also resolved via WhatsApp or call as teachers are always available for doubt sessions. we have some smart classes or labs where teachers teach on whiteboards making the concept easier to understand and retain.

Placement Experience:

The placements are not the best but not the worst either. I got placed in EY which gives me the chance to be a part of the Big 4. The placements are more dependent on individual capabilities rather than the college itself.
