Srujitha Lalam's Review On Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Architecture - [BVDUCOA], Pune | collegedunia.com

Being an Architecture student

Remarks :

We Have to either qualify in jee paper 2 or nata needed criteria. The application can be filled in on the official website of the college ( online form) on the internet. Nothing, in particular, is needed to be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to put the idea of comfortable living into action with minimal expenditure on housing. It differs from each subject, we have a 1:8 ratio in the design subject and theoretically, it is 1:25. The teachers are holding their masters in architecture and the hods have their PhDs received. Submissions get a bit hectic during the end but can be worked on with proper teacher guidance.

Internships Opportunities :

VKA and VKE are the popular companies that take us students in and the basic stipend is 300000 And we also have an Eco solutions company giving us internships and job opportunities. Housing projects and commercial building projects are generally given and are designed by us and the outcome turns to be something that we sure are proud to say we are the architects of that building and we are always on the positive of the outcome

Placement Experience :

The students are eligible to apply for campus drives from the 10th semester and companies and firms are coming to college for students. The highest is 700000 and the basic is 300000 The percentage of students placed 100% I want to do my masters

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for the course that has to be paid yearly is 110000. It is the basic fee that one as a student has to pay in an architecture college. And one getting the hike is purely dependent on how well he can perform in his work life. We are still in the internship trials and haven't got eligibility for campus drive

Campus Life :

We have an annual fest and cultural going on. We have a proper library with all the books that guide us to better knowledge. Our sports activities as well-maintained and our interests are well-motivated. We have pages on Instagram and Facebook

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel that I opted has a accommodation of 2 in a room with attached toilet and wardrobe and study table and a bed. 3 meals a day Walk in registration is available. The location of the hostel is opposite to the campus

From 5th yr the students are eligible for placements. As this has been recently introduced i don't have much idea about this but the efforts made by the faculties deserves a medal. And for the 4th year students the college helps them in getting internships.

Placement Experience:

Students can avail of campus placements and internships after the 4th semester itself. VKE, PDCL, Sunil Patil and Associates, Verenkar Associates, and Rajdeep Builders are a few of the many companies visiting for placements and internships. If the students' work is good then they are eligible, which means 100% placements can be availed with consistently good work. I want to continue with my master's and have practice.

Placement Experience:

Placements and interviews are available in college after the completion of a five-year course. Academically, the student can get an internship in the 8th and 9th semesters. But one is free to do an internship for a month or so whenever he or she wishes to. 3 to 4 lakhs of the package are offered to a freshly graduated architect from this college. But few choose to opt for a master's before getting into earning. Which is also available in this college- a master's in sustainable architecture.
