VIT reviewss

Remarks :

People who want to take admission can enter through the VITEEE exam Application form directly opens at VIT University page Reservation benefits can be availed for SC/ST OBC No improvement is needed as of now...

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was the best course University can offer as CS has high placements offers. Faculty to student ratio is decent enough Almost all teachers are PHD teachers and decent enough Exams are bitted havoc but manageable

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee hike policy is good as if they mentioned particular fees at the time of admission....no fees would be increased at an earlier stage of time. Scholarships are given through VITEEE to the top 100 ranks of 75 50 and 25%

Campus Life :

Riviera and gravitas are two cultural and technical fets respectively. And in October gravitas and Feb riviera is conducted. Books and journals are at ample amount in the library classrooms are not good as they are old fashioned and non-acs rooms only lab have ac Sports activities are very less

Cit has provided me with a great opportunity to explore the core fields of biomedical engineering through weekly hospital visits to Sri Ramachandra Hospitals, Apollo Hospital,Deepam Hospital. As well as i have visited Various healthcare companies like AMTZ Vishakapattinam phoenix Medical system Siemens Biovision medical system. I could seamlessly get placed in a well-renowned company named Stryker with a salary package of 8 lakhs. This was possible because of the knowledge I perceived during my core placement and training.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in computers and coding and have had a passion for computer science since 11th grade. The faculties are well-equipped to take classes for about 50 students on average. The faculty speak good English and are mostly cooperative unless you're unlucky and are assigned a strict professor. There are three exams; two CATS and the final, FAT. In a span of 4 months, you'll have to write these 3 exams along with quizzes and assignments.

Placement Experience:

Yes, there are on-campus placement opportunities for students. Students become eligible for placements in their 4th year and should not have any backlogs pending. There are so many placement opportunities here in VIT. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, DE Shaw, MATLAB, Siemens, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Providence, Air India, etc. visit for the placements and the number of offers varies from 1 offer to more than 100 offers in a mass recruiting company like TCS. There's a 100% placement record in VIT. The highest package in the year 2022-2023 was 1.2 Cr given by Motorq. The average package is 8-9 lakhs for CSE and overall around 7 lakhs per annum. There are 3 types of offers regular, dream, and super dream. If you get placed in Super Dream, you cannot sit for further offers. If Dream, you can only sit for super dream offers. Other options students get is to go for a master's. VIT also helps here by conducting different scholarship opportunities, and foreign exchange programs.
