Remarks :

Eligible for this course, we need to clear jee advance exam .this exam was conducted by the IITs council, to take this exam first you need to clear jee main exam. jee main was conducted by NTA. application fees for jee advance exam was nearly 2600/- for the general category. application of this comes just after a month of jee main exams. reservations are available if you are eligible for every category identified by the government of India. The exam centre needs to be modified.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is mainly physics related. and I want to gain knowledge of physics. faculty is highly knowledgeable. All PhD graduate professors and experienced. their teaching method is somewhere classical, not so much friendly not rude. but they do their work properly. we have mid-term and end-term exams in a semester. they aren't too hard you just have to study them once and understand the thing.

Internships Opportunities :

ONGC, ITC, Microsoft, google, and amazon all companies are giving internships. students do many development internships and make arts, and design too. many cyber security companies offer inter-in cloud storage web security. Google offers development interns to make some chrome extensions etc.

Placement Experience :

from the 5th semester, you will be offered PPOs. many MNCs came here and give a lot of offers, like google, amazon, Facebook, Flipkart, and finance, google companies offer nearly 2-3 but many companies give offers up to 20-30. last year's highest package offered is 2.4 crore, the average package is different for different branches but overall for btech it is 16.72 lakhs. nearly 60-80 per cent of students were getting placed. my plans to pursue a career in cyber security

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is good according to the opportunities available we have. in IIT you will get a lot of scholarships opportunity if you are economically weak. if your family's annual income is less than 500000/- you will get a lot of benefits. ITR, msm, many NGOs, reliance, kisaan etc are the scholarships available here. At IIT Roorkee there is a lot of culture of coding so you will get easily an internship if you work for it. college provide us with a job as per the student clubs we joined but theey dont give any stipend

Campus Life :

Thomso (cultural)and cognizance(tech) Asia's second largest tech fest. tech fest conducts in march and cultural is in October .mainly you will find many research books here and for education purposes, you will find almost everything. classrooms are good, there are two lecture halls one is new and the other is old. classrooms have boards and projectors too. name a sports activity and you will find it in IIT Roorkee (sports secretary) we have art & crafts, dramas, onrec, mobile development, cyber security, software development, and many activities available SDS labs, cyber security, mobile development, coding clubs, art and crafts, in IIT Roorkee all clubs are run by students only no authority undertaking is there to interfere.

Hostel Facilities :

In the room, you will find a fan, bed, almirah, study table, and chair, but no AC. the meal is satisfying, in the first-year mess isn't too good but in the second year you will get good food quality hopefully. the menu is repeated continuously, and are too frequent changes there. the hostel is mandatory to choose from, after admission, they will give you a form to fill and you get a hostel. locality I good near 100 meters area after that locals aren't too good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'll choose my course of b tech in computer science and engineering because I have an interest in these subjects from my previous classes and I feel confident and good enough to choose this course as my career. We feel so blessed to have a very nice and very supportive faculty as they make sure to the students that they are in very knowledgeable hands hence as a student I feel that if in any situation of tasks, the faculty is always with me. Mostly all our faculty members are post graduated and some of them are at the post of PHD. And about the teaching method, most of the faculty teach in a natural way and most of them teach us at a basic level. In our college, exams are arranged in every three times, the first two are known as sessional 1 and 2 respectively and the last one the main (final) exam called finals. These are tough but easy to pass coz of the preparation for class tests and assessments.
