Remarks :

I got admission through jee advanced rank 6331. I found the application form and application fees on josaa website. yes, the admission process is very slow so it has to be fast. The cut-off for the chemical branch is around 5000.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course due to the high internship and placement. The faculty was very young. They are helpful. Some are bad professors. But they help us with exams a lot. the term exams are easy if you study well.

Class Size : 114Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship of cse branch is very high about 40 lakhs but you get internships in the lower branches also. Microsoft gives an internship of fifty lakhs to all branches from the second year on basis of your skills.

Placement Experience :

The placement is very good. the highest international placement is about 1.23 crore and domestic placement is about eighty lakhs the average package of the good branch is about thirty lakh and all branches about twenty lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are very high that it is difficult to afford them. But iit roorkee gives financial assistance to economically weaker children. But not to all. If your family income is more than 5 lakhs you didn't get any scholarship.

Campus Life :

The annual fest conducted in IIT Roorkee is Thomson and the tech fest is cognizance. For all kind of book approx one lakh book is available in the library. You can play many sports at IIT Roorkee. There are many clubs to participate in.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is not up to mark. You get a single room if your rank is high otherwise triple room is available. The bathroom, wifi and LAN facilities are very bad. They work sometimes and sometimes not.

Hostel Fee : INR 49750 per year

Interview Experience :

For admission, I give Jee advanced. This is considered to be a tough exam but it is very easy to clear it because you required about thirty to forty per cent marks to get a good iit and a good branch like cse.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th sem students can sit in placements companies like Accenture, TCS, and HSBC bank to visit the college for on-campus placements. the highest package is atlassian 88 lac and the lowest is around 3.5 lac. around 90% per cent of students get placed.

Read once before taking addmission in UIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'll choose my course of b tech in computer science and engineering because I have an interest in these subjects from my previous classes and I feel confident and good enough to choose this course as my career. We feel so blessed to have a very nice and very supportive faculty as they make sure to the students that they are in very knowledgeable hands hence as a student I feel that if in any situation of tasks, the faculty is always with me. Mostly all our faculty members are post graduated and some of them are at the post of PHD. And about the teaching method, most of the faculty teach in a natural way and most of them teach us at a basic level. In our college, exams are arranged in every three times, the first two are known as sessional 1 and 2 respectively and the last one the main (final) exam called finals. These are tough but easy to pass coz of the preparation for class tests and assessments.
